I don’t think these drawings are Ai because as weird as they are, Ai typically has some very noticeable mistakes such as hair merging into accessories or clothing, hands making no sense and the colours typically clash and don’t look well together and I can’t find many of these mistakes. The hands, despite looking kind of wonky, all have the right amount of fingers and bend where they are supposed to which is not something Ai is good at. It probably is though, I’m just really impressed by the hands 😅

Straw dolls are also featured in animes like Hell Girl :) In Hell Girl, you tie a red string around the doll's neck and pull it to send your target to Hell.
