Ordered my first Brunt boots a couple months ago! I had to add high arch insole's, no more knee problems. They are like wearing sneakers, keep them conditioned and wear them dusk till dawn. Great boot!

My father-in-law had a ratty Corvair in the '80s. He was downtown in Philly when it caught fire. He jumped out and joined the crowd saying, "Who's car is that? Where's the driver of that piece of crap?" And he watched as firefighters put it out and the police hauled it away. 😂😂

Back in the 60s there was a Corvair drag car raced by Jumpin Joe Lunati! It was front engined with a small block chevy and had Hilborn fuel injection. He gave the funny cars of the day some stiff competition. It was that same blue and I hope someone knows more about it and maybe some pictures. I saw it at Dickinson Tx. dragstrip. Sure miss those days!

It is a sharp looking car! The look of the 2 door is far superior than the 4 door version. You got me curious about what it'll run. I had the opportunity to buy one of these in the mid 1990's but unfortunately I let it go.......Not many of these cars survive on the East Coast (long island NY). Nice build!

Looking cool Rudy. My uncle that was in a Air Force. Had one exactly like that but it was white. And he was stationed at Tucson Arizona. And he had a 63 corvair 4-speed. And he gave it to my app that letters Southern California. I used to drive everywhere. Add glass fax it was pretty loud back in the days. I never had a driver's license. Hydro from the time I was 12 until I turned 18. On highways without a driver's license. From Southern California 10 Northern Cal no license. Because I quit school at 14. They are cool cars.

I'm a big Corvair fan and would prefer to see it really fixed up nice. Back fifty years ago a friend had one that looked supreme but he had some professional performance work done on the engine and that car really moved out. Lost touch with him after I went into the Navy so don't know what ever happened to him (or the car), but I was quite envious of that car.

Not sure about drag racing but that car would be great at autocross or on a road circuit. Drag racing is mainly about power which isn't one of the Corvair's strengths, but autocross is about lnimble handling which is.

You know, there’s this perfectly unused engine bay at the front. Some people even placed a V8 there. I wouldn’t go that far, but a 2nd Corvair engine to be period correct should be an awesome build and should be sufficient for 15s, if you get it under control.

I mean if you really want to help aerodynamics. You can tape the seems of everything and it will make you milliseconds faster. Wax the car really good first tho. Since the engine is in the rear you could add a cone to the front and block off the grill too but that alsobadds weight so idk how beneficial itd be
