So much respect for this woman industry giant what would the game be without her. Someone who actually responds to emails even to someone like myself on the underground level

This one is absolutely my favorite episode because two of the biggest pioneers in the music industry (in my opinion) are in the same room, discussing one of my top five favorite topics; which is music, and the business that comes with it. The wisdom that we get from both Ray and Wendy is absolutely valuable, because it’s so priceless. Thank you for taking the time to give the energy/wisdom for a bunch of people y’all don’t even know 💯🫡

I am extremely curious to know the things being said in 'the room' that would never be said in front of people of colour. I think hearing those things could have a positive effect on how young rappers approach the business and even treat each other.

SUCH a great episode and conversation! Thank you for this content! And I love Tamara’s curious questions. She asks the things those of us not in the industry want to know but those IN the industry wouldn’t think to ask because they’re already in it. Great contrast! Keep it coming!

Rights don’t mean anything it’s assumed that it does at any moment your “rights” can be token by high government officials / record companies lawyers who are experts in LAW human Rights are Artist Rights etc are all marketing tools that give FALSE HOPE AS A CITIZEN IN ANY COUNTRY CORPORATE STATE YOU DONT HAVE RIGHTS YOU HAVE PRIVELAGES #moreau #101 BESIDES THAT GREAT INTERVIEW WENDY 🏆🏆🤘🏽

Ya'll fake losing me. It's always been about story. The platforms, medium and artform is just integrated with tech and that gives us holistic experiences with brands and artists. HOV, Biggie, Pac and the rest were really just living the lives they rapped about, which made it so legendary.

I no about getting $ to fast, at a young age. A artist I worked on had a show in Manhattan. My song was number 1 in the country. Me Rick James came in the dressing room. I'm a young man big Rick James fan. He said Vinny Bell your song is number 1 in the country tonight. You Big Shit now? I said Mr James I'm still living in Harlem, my girl and me 1 Bedroom apt. Ain't nothing changed. I had about $350,000 in the Bank. But I didn't run out and by things. I had a jeep B4 the hits. Still had the same jeep after. Me Rick James said right on young blood right on and hugged me. .B smart.

Wendy's correct it's hard being the next Beyonce. Quincy Jones said they'll never be another thriller cause fans brought thriller two Albums,a CD and the tape for there boom box. Musicians can't get money because they playing guitar off keys programming drums instead of hiring a drummer n mic n his drum kit. And celebrity rappers n vocalist complain how streaming sucks..

The Music Business gave a lot of undeserving people fat checks. Which messes the next person who's deserving not get a shot. When your parents brought you a Casio at 13 and you wrote songs on it. And at 23 some of those songs got published n was on the radio. When you got that $200thou check from Sony you appreciate it.
