I think we that are born again must make up our minds thst we hate our sin. That may be a process, or may never happen. Like God said to Cain: sin lieth at ghe door and his desire is toward you, and you must rule over him.

The main one that kills us is bitterness.

That is true to a point. The point is we are too weak; we need the power of God in us to overcome sin. We do have free will, but the problem is our wills are broken. It's too long a tale to take up here, but suffice it to say; pray for strength to resist temptations.

Forgive me if I misunderstood but are you teaching sinless perfection? I've been saved about 7 years now and I just keep falling back into the same old sins. and I know it's wrong and I feel bad I don't like them at all I don't boast about them I am regretful of them but I feel like I just can't help myself sometimes. Perfection? Not in this world! No, as long as we are on this side of Jordan, we must spend much time repenting. The natural man is mortally wounded, but he ain't dead yet.
