Yeah I started with triangle parting, combined locs, and now I just have sections. And they're not all even. I'm fine with it! I do try to at least keep the sections clean so hair isn't going into other locs.

Good vibes, still remember you restored my faith that I would be able to wear hats again. The hair still looks great, and awesome that your daughter helped start your journey. Stay blessed Queen.

I swear your hair grows more with every me video! Thanks for continuing to provide great content. This is great but I'm still struggling with frizz so any help with that is great (will be one year later this month)!

I have a question, and it ties into something you talked about awhile ago. I started my locs almost 4 years ago and I’m finding it is getting more and more difficult for my hair along my hairline to stay in my locs. My retwists only last like 5 min (lol) and after 10 my edges are like “ok I wanna be free” lol. Any suggestions for how to handle this outside of interlocking? I’ve done that once and while it did help some, I don’t want to interlock on a regular basis. Thank you for sharing your journey with us! It has helped me tremendously over the years!

I have the same problem till this day. I have what they call natural “baby hairs” The hair just doesn’t grow like the rest of my hair, it stays pretty short and softer than the rest. I tried interlocking and it didn’t really help me and actually made my loc inconsistent. Long story short, I just learned to except it. I’ll make a video if I figure out away.

BLCKFLWR Or you could do one of three things-1. instant loc them. 2. braid the hairs into the loc, using the loc as the third strand. 3. Go to the store and buy a regular crochet needle and weave the loose hair into the loc snugly. If you don't understand these processes please look them up. They can be used anywhere on the head.

I love ur loc videos. Thanks for making this video. I'm new on this journey and at 5 months I noticed one of my locs being thinner than the others around it. I honestly don't know if it waa like that from the beginning because like you my parts aren't perfect and all the same size. Anyway I decided to retwist my hair every 2 months to stay away from the thinning phenomenon...its just a precaution. I make 7 months on the 5th of November but I plan to retwist on Friday because I'm off. I've been staying on top of popping my locs and don't wet my hair as often anymore because I've been wearing a headwrap since my month 5 retwist started looking bad and I live in NYC and the weather is getting colder. I don't like hearing my hair break when I pop it. Do you think that will eventually lead to thinning? Also do u think retwisting every 2 months will lead to breakage and thinning when i have to pop them or does staying on top of the popping needed make it better?

Look. I am FEELING YOU regarding this "thinning" based on the parts at the top of the head. I have that same problem and feel very self conscious about it because I'm like "NO! I JUST STARTED MY LOCS AND WHY AM I FEELING/LOOKING THIN!!!" Thank you for the transparency and tips for this.
