Ok, I've got a random/odd Dollar Tree suggestion...I buy their tiny red solo cups. You can buy them at the grocery store for around 3.50, or at the Dollar Tree for 1 dollar! Such a great deal! And PS. if you have trouble finding them, look in the toilet paper section. haha, I'm serious! (They come in packs of 20)

You are so right about the bagged Dollar Tree beans and rice. You can find them cheaper at the grocery store. Another thing I noticed was the candy in the large rectangular-shaped boxes. You can find the same ones that the Dolllar Tree sells at Walmart for .88 cents each.

What a great video! I'm always keeping my eyes peeled to see the name brand, but I don't see them at my store so often, so consider yourself lucky to have such a variety. I have seen the hand cream, I actually know the owner of that company. She'd be jazzed to hear you talk about how awesome it is. That is a great size to keep in a purse too.

My OBGYN said that same thing regarding the dollar pregnancy test. She said that they are the exact same tests that are used in most doctors office and the hospitals. When you buy the expensive ones you are just paying to the nice packaging that makes it look pretty.

I was STUNNED about the large square bins from dollar tree that you posted a few weeks ago... and in little old Tucson, AZ they didn't have much white, but they had KELLY GREEN! Which is one of my favorite colors!! I love them as opposed to milk crates because the holes are much smaller and little things don't fall through the bottom. The Dollar Tree rocks, if you know what to look for. I recently found the file storage boxes at my local store and those definitely get a thumbs up! Have you seen the Gerber Organic baby food in fruits and veggies at your Dollar Tree yet? I was trying to think of who I knew that had an infant so I could snag a few. It's great that you did this video to show that DT just doesn't carry crummy stuff. Although I must say that a lot of the name brand stuff is regional and sporadic. I get so many people telling me that they cannot find some of the items that I share in my hauls. I think it has to do with when and where they buy some of their liquidations. I recently did a Name Brand Dollar Tree video as well :)

I love your Dollar Tree Hauls! My sons are grown now, but there was a time that I shopped Dollar Tree for many name brand items. When you have 3 ravenous teens in the house, expiration dates are not a problem! I also scoped out products I might not be familiar with. I blame Dollar Tree for my current relationships with marinated olives, nutella and hummus!

They have really cute Victorian like decorative boxes at the dollar tree where I live. They are small but look just like the expensive ones you find at Michael's. So pretty!

I love their sunglasses! $1 each, not the greatest quality but honestly I have 5 pairs or so and none of broken on their own yet (I am notorious for sitting on, dropping, loosing, ect sunglasses so its not worth it for me to buy expensive ones). Not all of their tupperwear is worth it but sometimes our DT has 3 packs of Rubbermaid - we stock up! I also, like you, stock up on tons of cards once or twice a year - kids, birthday, thank you, congrats, sympathy, get well.....the list goes on! I always check their office supply section - hit or miss - but I often find 2 packs of Sharpie full size markers & at least so far they have all been perfectly great - not dry or old. I also love grabbing a box of plain white envelopes just to have on hand! Nail polish remover is almost always a good find there, name brand character band-aids often come in 30 ct boxes at our DT, 2 packs of Blistex or Carmex is always on our list - we have a lip balm stealing elf around I think! We love the DT for those kinda items that get lost or forgotten easily!! :-)

I visited my daughter in NYC and saw that she setup a makeup vanity with so much expensive brands. On an outing we went to the village and we went into an ELF makeup store and it was gorgeous. I was so pleased when I returned to Maine and walked into my neighborhood dollar tree and found that the carried ELF makeup! I was able to scoop some up and make a gift package for both my daughters... There are many more name brand makeup products at the dollar tree!!

I found the cutest flexible binder: black/white stripes with a large yellow smiley face. In addition to this I found clear vinyl 8.5 x 11" envelopes with built in/pull out 3 hole punch. I'm using these to house all of my stickers for my planner. AHHH! SO CUTE!!!

I love the Scent Sationals. I buy the gel beads in the refill bags and put them in Mason jars with holes in the lids, for the shelves over my toilets. They work just as well as Air Wick. I have used the Awesome spray for really tough jobs. I also buy the clips and ponytail bands for my daughter since she constantly loses them!

I'm a new sub and have watched several of your videos before I went to my Dollar Tree and boy did I feel like a kid in a candy store! Kitchen items: small cutting board, basting brush, mixing bowl with handle, mixing spoons, measuring cups, and non skid pads. Then I got fingernail polish remover and nail polish. I was so impressed with all the big brand name items like Crest toothpaste and Downey fabric softener (It was a small bottle but I was completely out and this will get me through more than several loads) These were items that were needed...well most of it, I got a bag of the candy - just the right size. Heaven help me if I go in there without a budget to stick to!!! THANK YOU for showing me all of this!

I agree, you def can find some good name brand items for a buck. I've been enjoying the Jergen's Hand Soap in the original cherry almond scent. Even my boyfriend prefers it because it's moisturizing and doesn't dry out your hands like most soaps do. The box of Brillo pads is a deal for cleaning tough stains. Reynolds foil with a good amount in the box a great find too. I have scored some awesome Milani makeup hits as well. Thanks again for always sharing cool ideas and keeping us "In the Know!"

We love getting our tape there (Scotch brand!) and they usually have some Jennie-O turkey bacon, too! The package of bacon is smaller than you'd get at other stores, but so so so much cheaper! There are also sometimes great deals on E.L.F makeup products (their lip products are great) and sometimes Mabeyline and Miliani, too. I LOVE their Sesame Street toddler wipes. I have a little one that sometimes has trouble with just toilet paper, and toddler wipes at other store are SO expensive for what you get! The ones from the Dollar Tree work just as well, and are much cheaper.

I use the small red Betty Crocker plastic colanders. I own four of them and they are perfect size for peeling vegetables because I carry them out to the compost AND use the colanders for picking vegetables from the garden for the meal. I have much more expensive colanders BUT I never use them... too hard to clean and too heavy. I love my little colanders. Oh and the potato peelers work fine as well.

Excited!! I found Fridge bins at the dollar tree!!! I bought 5. I put yogurt drinks in one, yogurt tubes and cheese sticks in one, drink boxes in one, capri suns in one and made a pizza bin that has a pizza sauce, pepperoni, shred cheese and parmesean for my son's pizza toast snacks. Of course, I had to bust out the label maker.. Whoohoo!

We have a brand new Dollar Tree in our area (finally!). One great find in the frozen good section is frozen mixed berries for $1 a bag. Quality was great and so much more affordable than the grocery store.

I always buy my dish soap(Palmolive), soft soap and tooth paste. I've bought the bread before and it was good. Also Campbell tomato and chicken noodle soup. Not only are they a dollar but the cans are larger than the grocery store!

I love The Carolina Nut Co salt & pepper peanuts! I have also found Delmonte fruit cups and the vegetables straws ( forget the brand). Another fav of mine is the crispy green bean fries in the frozen section.

Just went to our Dollar Tree yesterday to pick up a bunch of storage containers so I could say BYE, BYE to my junk drawer and start organizing house :) My Dollar Tree doesn't have the refrigerated grocery dept like yours does but I did find a bunch of white dishes that looked to be a really good, heavy quality. I would have got some but my cart was already full..lol Thanks for bringing my attention to the fact Dollar Tree is so awesome and because of you, I no longer have junk drawer :)

Our dollar tree doesn't have a frozen food section but I get my mascara from them. It's the LA colors and it's a small tube, but you can buy it for like $3 at the drugstore. It's my go to when I'm out of my expensive mascaras. :) We also buy cookie sheets and muffin tins there. We use tinfoil on them for easy clean up and they're holding up just as well as my mom's more expensive ones!

I found Nivea Shaving Cream at a very small DT. Never underestimate a DT's size. My larger DT is usually out of everything and doesn't even have the freezer items. This extremely small DT was stocked up and very organized.

my sister is pregnant also. i had picked up the lemon Italian Ice for myself and brought her some to try. She is having major nausea issues and her doctor recommended the lemon Italian ice. There was a storm that night so it was a lucky coincidence she already had it in the freezer. its one of the few things she doesn't have issues with so we been buying it up like crazy. Walmart cost is 2.78 for 6 but it comes 2 flavors per box so there is only 3 lemon. If you purchase 3 boxes at the dollar tree you get 12 cups thats double for only 22 cents more and you get to pick lemon or cherry or both.

loved this video... and yes that cupcake storage is bad ass... I use it every time I bake and the cupcakes last for a least a week just as fresh... soft and all like I just baked them... ummm!!

+DoItOnaDime : be careful with toothpaste at the Dollar Tree, even name brand ones. There was an issue in the past with Dollar Tree selling toothpaste meant for foreign markets rather than the US and those toothpastes had way more fluoride than the FDA allows. You can look up the issues on snopes.com

You're right! I always look at the distribution portion that says if it was shipped from the States or a foreign country. You can't ever be too cautious with toothpaste.

Yesterday I bought E6000 glue, Command strips, felt pads, shoe boxes, museum putty, furniture pads & Glad buggies. They had a ton of cleaning & soap products. Paper products, mops, magic erasers etc. to choose from.
