I felt bad about not exercising while in college but I just checked my steps and I walk like 4-6 thousands steps a day. Some days it's 10-12 thousand. So if you're reading this and you walk a lot know that that has a lot of health benefits!

No same I'm taking a full load of credits this semester (18) and barely have any free time, so i stopped exercising regularly 😢 but i def get 6-10k steps on a regular day so it balances out haha!

Hey deb! :) I recently joined my schools cross country team and it’s been such a challenge for me (;_;) the reason I joined was because I was so out of shape and I’m glad I did. Even tho I’m the slowest on the team I still am improving and I just want to keep on pushing and try not to compare myself with other but it does get hard sometimes. Im super proud of myself for doing this to better myself and it’s great seeing you also trying to improve for yourself! So long story short, keep pushing yourself and WE BOTH GOT THIS!! ❤

I did cross country( from junior high 7&8 grade and also high school 9,10,11,12 grade! I’m a 4th year college student now, my elementary school gym teacher told me to sign up because I loved/love running long distance) it doesn’t matter if you are a slow runner or even the last person to finish a race or the fastest one of course it is more enjoyable to be good at the sport,but the best is to be uncomfortable too or you won’t grow, you are still a runner no matter the situation. I’m so proud of you joining hope the best to you! ❤ love another LD runner

I love tennis, as a varsity player, each person’s tennis journey is unique, but I would recommend a racket with power to prevent injury, and if you’re just starting out try poly or mono strings. Tennis is such a fun and social sport, make sure to play with a variety of people and don’t let anyone make you feel bad, tennis is for fun!

Bro last year I went to get a pixie cut at this fancy salon and i showed my hairstylist( who was an auntie) my inspo pics only for her to chop my hair off to look like those east asian aunties/grannies that have a pixie bob with a side fringe. I had to stay at home for a month for it to grow and then bought clippers to fix my hair by myself. That was the last time my mum forced me to get my hair cut in a salon. HAHAHAH I have been cutting my hair by myself from then on and I ain't stepping foot in any salon ever again hhehe :)))

that's a good question...! i think it's pretty common to refer to uni/college as "school" in north america because our definition of school is just a place of learning, not defined to specific years or places :)
