It’s like the makers of the larger wires tried to idiot proof the instructions, but even as a former auto tech, you still find that one person who doesn’t read the instructions and do exactly what it says. Thanks for the laugh Doc lol !

Hey Doc could you add a tip on a 20 heritage routing of the park plug wires in the tiedowns on your previous video you mentioned mounting to a bracket and that bolt rubbing and on the heritage there’s no bracket to mount it to

I put 12mm Twisted wires on my Twin Cam. The difference was actually noticeable. I was surprised, I didn't expect anything.

The difference was because the stock wires were shot and replacing them with the same thing would of gave you the same result!

Taylor wires, made in the USA for over 90 years make ready to install, exact fit, hd model specific 8mm wires in many colors for under $30. They're much nicer than oem with a silicon type material and permanently attached boots. I have them on my jeep too and they fit more precisely than oem with different boot angles and more acurrate lengths for each cylinder.

Hey Doc, knowing 10mm wires are larger Diameter...why doesn't HD Screaming Eagle 10mm wires come with proper clamps? Mine didn't have any instructions at all.

Too many different models they can be installed on. Stop in your local dealer. Ask for a copy of instructions….Doc

Thanks Doc. Had a similar issue with the Twin cam upgrade from stock spark plug wires to SE 10MM PHAT spark plug wires. Ordered 10177 CABLE STRAP, w/ plug-in retainer (4). I wonder if that part number fits the existing M8 hole where you insert the cable tie. Much more professional fitting that cable strap than a cable tie in my opinion.

I bought a set of the 10mm plug wires; went to pop them off to change the plugs and the boot seperate from the wire. Also... maybe it's me but sometimes I find its one hell of a PITA to get the plug wires on correctly, on the right side plugs. They're so deep in the hole.
