You all don't know Dame whatsoever. I've been watching the NBA for 53yrs. Dame is one of the most easygoing players I've ever seen. He is my favorite Blazers EVER. He's not only a great person on the court, he's a non selfish player ever. You all had made him out to be depressed, and not into the game, and blah blah blah before you even gave him a chance to play. He had surgery last year and was being bothered from a couple of things physically NOT MENTALLY. We Blazer fan would take him back with open arms. He shows his teammates such respect. Maybe you all should take a few minutes to do a little research on him.

i will give Doc Rivers credit benching Beasley, but Doc being Doc screws it up by playing Jae, who is slow on defense and can't shoot for lick. the pacers just ran circles in the paint with nembhard finding holes and driving and dunking uncontested. we need to play Ajax and Marjon who can drive to net with Giannis still out.

What do you know, the franchise player still means something for this team. Him back would do a lot to raise offensive efficiency, and make life a little bit harder for Siakam for us to hopefully win. We got this! I want people to understand this pacers team is truly our biggest threat in the East, and that we are playing in a secret ECF early... there is no other team with the offensive efficiency of the Pacers, counteracted by the respectable defense post Siakam signing besides us followed by the Celtics. This was not supposed to be easy, and we need to be graceful through the series.

If we can make Siakam's life hard, will be the end of the series. When you have Giannis (and you wanna use him to do that...) it's easy, when you have not Giannis it's hard. Offense was poor, especially ball movement and player involvement. Indiana plays full court, hard-press D the entire game. The physicality enabled to play harder we can play a lot more physical as well, we have the players to do so. So our offence needs ball movement, sets like "here Khris get the ball, _so something in ISO_" should be the exception not the rule. They shot well in this game. Chances are that one of the two next games they'll brick a lot. If we shoot well, we get an easy W. Last thing: when we cannot score, just put brook down-low. He'll score if you feed him properly a couple of times.

I was pretty impressed with the impact of Doc on the defense when I watched them within the first 10 games that he took over. They weren't winning consistently, but it was clear they were playing defense. It seems to me that either the guys have lapsed back into bad habits, got lazy, or are just tuning the coach out. This team is not playing together, but then again, what can we really expect with Giannis out? I never really thought this team could win a series without Giannis.

Big LOVE and RESPECT to Doc, but he seems to be following the Bud path to a tee. He is tiring out his best players. Throw your young guys in there to mix it up. Let them play while the stars rest for a minute or two. Also, there comes a point where there is just too much analysis and talk. You need to build in strong bonding rituals into the team building. Have the players connect in new ways.
