Nothing has been done to restrain massive corporate monopolies with shadow ownerships that overlap the entirety of the supply chain, hiding in shell companies and compounded by stock buybacks to further concentrate wealth and power at the top 1%. The Right of workers to organize and collectively bargain has been systematically stifled, repressed, and vilified over the last few decades but is the ONLY solution left to force the corporate oligarchy to give up the slave-wage model and give the people who MAKE the products and BUY the products some compensation for their contribution other than crippling dept and generational poverty. Well all of this greed in world is so disgusting I am a conductor with railroad and we went through this and it is ashamed, we have to work and be available for work 24-7-365 yes we have vacation...but we get penalized if we take off or layoff from work, we are on trains away from home everyweekend cant go to kids functions cause of weekends layoffs points system yes we can schedule day here n there weekend but weeks months and years add up and we have missed a lifetime....While the owners make profits off billions dollars while enjoying there families and life and causing commodities prices to go up for the consumers. We work for measly dollars while they make way too much in profits that cripple the economy so its not the workers or need to have automation its the greed of every filthy rich person screwing the economy the rich get rich while the poor get poorer!!!!! I remember when I first hired in 2008 trained for a year with pay then was laid off for 2yrs no back pay and 2yrs after that driving hundred of miles chasing my seniorty.....while the ceo got millions a year to lay workers offf.....GREED is destroying the entire world. So the workers have a right to ask for more because everytime we get a raise it is met with we as workers still having to be consumers also the rich pay little taxes we as works pay there taxes so they can keep there money.

This is what you get when you base an entire economic system on global supply chains, cheap overseas labor and resources, massive trade deficits, currency debasement and petty consumerism. Wouldn't it be much smarter to re-shore critical manufacturing in concert with creating a utilitarian economy that is based on needs rather than artificial wants? Such an economy would reduced carbon footprint, reduce dependence on foreign countries and supply chains , improve the quality of lives for people in this country with meaningful and better paying work, end trade imbalances and mitigate currency value debasement.
