I'm a highly sensitive person and a introvert and empath. It is indeed very draining both mentally and physically but like you said it has many positive sides. I would indeed love to learn about how to cope with the negative side, also because i have multiple complex psychiatric disorders like Cptsd and BPD which makes it even more complicated. Anyway thanks for the amazing explanation!

So glad that this was finally labeled and discussed, because I was uncertain on how to categorize myself. Now if you could just have a video on the “how to” when things go awry for us that would be grand. Ex: how to say the right thing without freezing up especially on interviews. Or when that toxic person comes at you, how to become blissfully numb to it as it happens, instead of being ridiculous on the inside and having it tear you down. I heard all the methods, tried most, but I still appear to be at the starting line.. Any advice

I’m a super highly sensitive person, empath and physical therapist. I’m prone to everything you are talking about! Thanks for the video. Would love to hear about some coping tools for HSP and empathy/caregivers to prevent burnout.

Hi, Im 25 and started to think to study medicine to become a psychiatrist but as an hsp Im very afraid about the residency. Could you give any advice on how to survive it possibly without having a burnout and/or depression please?? Everybody are saying that chronic tirednesd is experienced by all residents and I dont know then if its worth it... I mean..its six years...

Who also heard from George Floyd's voice that this was a voice of despair at death's door? I couldn't understand why news channels were broadcasting a live murder . It was so horrible that I suffered for days. I will never forget his name or unhear that voice in my head. . If you have to briefly explain what HSP is, you say that we do not have the dissociation button installed.

Can you please make a video of how to become successful in med school and residency! I am just completing my BSN and I have a passion for psychiatry. I want to become a psychiatrist but I am a bit concerned about attending med school because it seems so intense! I realize nursing school is intense, hence, my concern about med school 😝

i know you're not a HSP because a common misconception about HSP is that we cry at stupid commercials that are made to elicit emotions in us, we know better. Maybe we cry the first time but we become so desensitized to those things that we become numb to it.
