I know the DCEU is getting a reset and they are keeping some characters here and there. But I hope they bring back Pierce Brosnan as Dr.Fate, he and the JSA were the best part of Black Adam.

Pierce Brosnan is great and all. But if they did a solo Dr Fate origin story maybe they should get Alexander Skarsgård. The Kent Nelson character is canonically half swedish. Which is an odd choice for an Egyptian themed hero. But he does have the blue and yellow color scheme.

He was 100% the best thing, great characterization, great design. Good use of powers. So much more interesting by suggestion than anything else. A better movie there than here, and the subject matter..the demands of Dr. Fate and the toll it takes would have made for a very different movie than most super hero stuff atm.

Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate... they really cooked with this casting. Top tier character design + visuals. Comic accurate as well. They even honored the Injustice gang sign sequence.

That is definitely something Fate would say. Not Nelson. But Nelson is the host body of Fate with Fate usually being the one in the driver's seat.

Superman is much less durable to magic than to other things (one time green lantern was turned evil by a magic god who empowered him and his ring was slicing superman). For most mages, Superman would just be able to speedblitz them, but Doctor Fate is too durable for that too.

The worst thing about Pierce Bronson in the role is the fact that anybody with a brain about live action comic adaptations already knew that you weren't going to be seeing Kent in the helmet constantly. It's likely the second reason as to why the helmet doesn't have eye holes.

Fate is just flat out stronger.but it also depends on if Nabu wants to cooperate with whoever is wearing the helmet which isn’t very often lol. Really the only way to defeat Fate is by attacking the helmet to the point it no longer works which is easier said than done. attacking the person wearing the helmet is harder to do and will just piss of Nabu and that’s one thing you don’t want to do when fighting fate. Could Strange win against fate yes but it’s completely up to the writer as most of these kind of character 1 fights character 2 are.

Depends on who wears the helmet. If a resistant non magical being wears the helm. Then Doctor Fate is a B tier Hero on the same level as say Starfire. If a willing ,very magical genius who works together with Doctor Fate then you would need Strange Supreme to even stand a chance.

Id say one of the only things that the movie didn’t really portray is for when Kent puts the helmet of Nabu on is when he talks we are supposed to hear Kent and Nabu’s voice at the same time which is something that is shown in the Young Justice show.

Is it ok to say I enjoyed Black Adam? Doctor Fate belonged in this version and he gelled the teamwork used in battles. This film is undervalued for making the same mistakes that have plagued United States films for decades. Kids run around with 0 supervision and get in trouble. The team had promise though.

He is a god. He is basically the human host/avatar of Nabu the chief deity of the Lords of Order. He is DCs chief sorcerer. Depending on the writer his power can fluctuate but generally he is considered to be one of DCs most powerful heroes. He is usually featured in the JSA comics but the generally have him only appear sometimes because he is just too powerful compared to the other members. The Doctor Fate in this movie is Kent Nelson. The OG Doctor Fate. You want to read a super messed up origin story then read about Kent Nelson becoming Doctor Fate its sadder than Batmans. This was a fun movie but Doctor Fate is way more powerful than Black Adam which is annoying that he was nerfed so heavily.
