You’re in high school, so enjoy your life and do what you love to do! Good grades are important but not everything. Do what you love and that will keep you motivated and show on your application later - you have PLENTY of time. I nearly failed High-school. I didn’t want to become a doctor till my sophomore year of college. But hey... here I am as a Medical Student. So make sure you have fun in the process-you can’t get time back.

Working in Brooklyn for almost a year, eating during the day, and transportation costs was my biggest expenses. I spent so much money commuting back and forth I started to bring my lunch to work, and then brought food from downstairs like once a month. So he is right eating out in New York City is expensive.

I agree on going to a hairdresser you trust and pay whatever they tell you. Well worth the cost😎. I travel 45 minutes to my hairdresser who I completely trust and pay her the 50 bucks. So very worth it😁

It’s intermittent fasting , it’s the best , I work night shifts and I don’t eat for 18 hours daily , I don’t eat all night I’m at work and I feel a lot more energetic and focus . The body is incredible .

Sorry I only lasted till Thursday. Cancer survivor here...1. make dozen hard boiled eggs on a Sunday. When you have your am coffee, take one egg and wrap in lettuce leaves. Have same later in afternoon. 2. Add yogurt and fruit snack every day. 3. Eat more salads. Make big bowls of veggies on Sundays and scoop out nice salad to take each day. I can't believe you pay for an iphone but do not invest in your health Doctor! How much did you pay for student loans? Protect your investment. Peace and happy new year.

I think it helps that his wife is a PA, so prob makes around 100k herself. So with her salary I think they are very comfortable. If it was just his 60-80k salary he would need a roommate or a much tighter budget.

gees! my monthly expense is around $21,000 and that's when i lived in a small town in north carolina now i'm in a bigger city tulsa ok and it's about the same i spend $2,000 to 2,500 per month just on groceries and about $1,200 a month for regular chain restaurants lone star etc. and i go about 2 to 3 times a month to ruths chris steak house witch is around $600 a visit that's about $1200 $1600 per month on that and i spend about $300 on fast food

Kinda funny how the cost of living is higher there ,yet the other expenses that go into not like info in a city really adds up in suburban/ rural America . It really all ends up similar in the end. It’s not that bad Mike. Our monthly personal expenses exceed $7000. We own a home in Boston area. We own 3 businesses, 2 nice cars…Many write offs. Our health insurance is VERY expensive $1699 a month. So I feel ya man it isn’t cheap to live.

Dr Cellini, you came to mind immediately today!!🤞 29 year old pharmacist daughter diagnosed with "vein insufficiency" and "slow flow vein" in leg after MRI. C/o pain and hard knot on back of calf. Sent to cardiologist who referred to vascular surgeon who said NOT a varicose vein and not sure if treatable. Vascular Doc says only Dr who would know is a IR Dr. Dr Cellini, wish you lived here in Las Vegas😷😨!! But have you ever treated so called "vein insufficiency" in leg? Success?

There's some confusion about intern year (PGY-1) and how you have to apply separately, but I've also heard sometimes the radiology residency coordinates the intern year for you? Anyways I think that would help a lot of us who are interested in radiology. You could also talk about major factors for interview selection, tips, etc.

Saw this yesterday and was not up to asking you a question due to recent gall bladder surgery. Since there are so many apartment vacancies in NY currently, why can you not renegotiate your current rental or move to a different apartment. Obviously this could be quite a bit of money back in your pocket. Also wait to get haircuts when you are back in Athens, they are a lot cheaper there.
