There's a little truth to the whole parts of the foot correlate with the body thing. My mom wasn't feeling great, but we went out for pedicures. The tech was massaging my moms feet and a specific part kept hurting. The tech asked her if she has gallbladder issues and she said no. She fell ill and went to the hospital. She had gallstones. It was pretty interesting actually

I love that you stated that autism is mostly inherited!!! Parents don't want to know this, they want to blame something else, like vaccines or polution. But I am a functional autistic and I know my father is autistic too, but he will never acknowledge this. My grandfather died when I was in middle school and for what I remember, he could have been autistic too. We have so much similar coping mechanisms. Schools have to be made aware of medical conditions in case of emergency (like if you're diabetic and you pass out or something) so I would imagine the teacher was probably made aware of any medical conditions in his class. Odd that he would bring it up though lol
@baie_nuuskierig Жыл бұрын
Super unprofessional. You are told about a learner's health risks to prepare you for certain emergencies that may pop up. Not to put a pupil on the spot. In my country, the law actually states that as a teacher, you are not permitted to share personal information on any pupil of any kind that they did not disclose as public knowledge. Also, @NovaNinja is absolutely correct - we are told about medical issues, ND issues and any possible home issues that would affect a learner's ability to focus and process lessons.

There actually is a study from Germany on the effects of dance training with elderly sedentary people which showed significant improvements in cognitive measurements (and if I remember correctly, memory was one of the subscales affected). Sport has been shown to improve some cognitive function and even lead to neurogenesis in some parts of the brain, but we still don't fully understand the mechanisms behind it.

Speaking from a professional dancer. The amount of choreography we have to memorize including rhythmic combinations probably does have some effect on our brains in the long run. Many dancers do it multiple times a day and it is most definitely a brain exercise every time. Would love to hear your thoughts given the context of the exercise.

I have autism, I was diagnosed when I was little, and, even as an adult, the signs and symptoms are obvious with me. For a while, my mom thought I got it from mercury in vaccines and/or booster shots I got when I was little, but I likely inherited it from my dad, who, while undiagnosed and seemingly unaware that he even has signs and symptoms of it, is probably also autistic, but to a lesser degree.
@Kindrick3 жыл бұрын
@Margaret Bush, trace amounts of a mercury compound used to be used as a preservative in vaccines, or maybe still is, Idk, but the specific compound is harmless in said amounts, and, as far as we can tell, does not cause autism.

My husband was diagnosed with ASD at age 13, because of his father getting diagnosed at that time and they had the same symptoms. Hubby's grandfather also had even more severe symptoms of ASD. That isn't really increasing your memory however. As you learn those movements and dance routines they became easier for the same reason doing any complicated task becomes easier over time. There are multiple things you should do, drinking non alcoholic beverages is just one of them. Still, you are probably better off drinking powerade, pedialyte, or some kind of sports drink than regular water. You also probably should eat something if I remember correctly, I actually have a list somewhere back when I drank more frequently and it was all evidenced based from real studies and medical advice from doctors, not facebook bs. I think there's something about having food in your stomach slows the absorption of alcohol compared to drinking on an empty stomach.

From a quick google search it looks like in 2010 there were some 'studies' that seem to be a little hard to track down, and have some strange claims that silicon was discovered to be in high concentrations in beer, more so than other products high in silicon. The conclusion that it's good for bones is like... they jumped from "Silicon is good for bones, it's high in beer, so therefore beer is good for bones." Ignoring all the OTHER effects of alcohol entirely. Seems like recently people are re-discovering this 2010 'trend' and going wild with spreading the FACT that "Beer makes your bones stronger, oh also it improves your heart health and lowers you cholesterol" Should be noted I didn't find ANYTHING about studies toward cholesterol or heart health. Google is NOT a great way to find scientific facts.. but it IS a great way to find a lack of them. If you have trouble googling scientific findings, there's probably a reason.

I don't get it... Why would the weird noise *keep* the female fanbase? The dance alone does that.

Melanie keeps from killing them as in dying from his sexy dance, not deteriorating his female fanbase numbers. Lol
