It's a bit strange to me that not one of you discussed a few key aspects I. Dr. Strange is very much a slave to time II. The phrase "It's not about you", which leads to him choosing to become Sorcerer Supreme, rather than go back to being a surgeon - as he could focus in energy into his hands 1h18m and not a single mentioning of "It's not about you", which is a HUGE part of Strange's journey And he learns about the infinity stones in the Avengers: Infinity War Prelude #2 comic. You joked about Thanos being the "bill to pay", but actually - Wong seems concerned that is the case marvelcinematicuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Avengers:_Infinity_War_Prelude Wong teaches him about each stone, and it's happening during Thor: Ragnarok

It does feel like the first Iron Man, but my god Benedict Cumberbatch and some of these action scenes is the best in the MCU. The Open Your Eye Scene is one of the absolute coolest scenes in any film. If it wasn't for this movie, we would have never had Ghost Rider on Agents of SHIELD. In the Library you can see a missing book in the Forbidden Rack. That missing Book is the Darkhold which is a key object in the 4th Season of Agents of SHIELD.

I hope y'all do this with DC. Honestly, I just want an episode for BvS (the extended cut). No amount of rewatches can make Suicide Squad good lol. You guys said that you didn't care for some of the marvel movies but then you rewatched them and were pleasantly surprised. And I'm with Tim on the comedy. This was the first MCU movie for me where I criticized the comedy. Felt lazy, forced, and fell flat. Guardians 2 also has a bit of that too. Excited to see what's next! Love this show. And i hope the Infinity War episode is like 3 hours lol

Wong tells Strange about the Infinity Stones in the comic for Infinity War Prelude part 2 of 2. Immediately after Dr Strange ends, he repeats that he has much to learn and then explains where the stones are now. This is when he says that Loki has been on earth twice before, both times in possession of infinity stones and that Thor and Loki are on earth again. This is when Strange pulls Loki from the sidewalk in Ragnarok. After he is done with then, he talks to Wong again and Wong says “Little is known about the sixth and final stone - the soul stone...but if what is known turns out to be true, it could possibly be the BIGGEST THREAT of them all.” (

An hour shorter than the Civil War review, can't say I am surprised lol. Anyway hey from Nepal guys, and I wish I liked the movie a bit better just cause it was shot here. I had a good few expectations from it as I had read some good Strange comic runs and wished they had leaned a bit more horror here. But overall it's just an okay, enjoyable movie.

I think the sanctums are warded so you can't sling ring into them, the black eyed man attacked the sanctums from outside at their respective locations. I guess you can sling to the outside of the sanctum, but the doors are probably more of a convenience.

Strange used the Eye to slowdown or halt the progression of time to learn more skills. Him manipulating the flow of time made him have enough time to learn what he needed but his physical body age still continued to age normally,that’s why he has the grey spots in his hair. No way to tell how long he was busy studying so..

I liked the Dormammu ending A lot the only thing that I didn’t like about it was Dormammu is supposed to be cosmic crazy level strong and he could be controlled with only one stone. I think the whole infinity war made me feel this way because of thanks getting all stones. I don’t know it just seems to me that Dormammu should be more powerful then he seemed.

Captain America: First Avenger Doctor strange while competent and well done, felt more obligatory than other marvel flicks (maybe being another origin story what made it feel stale)I Loved the imagination, visuals and exploration of hindu/budhism. Those elements were fresh and original. Doctor Strange boasts an excellent third act using wit and magic to topple the big bad instead of fists. Speaking of fists, I found it weird that these sorcerers and wizards that can manipulate time and space still resort to punching eachother. The melee combat just felt odd. like really? Why are we punching when you have an arsenal of the supernatural at your disposal?

I can not agree that this movie is better than Age of Ultron, but even with a few differences on my list it came out in the same spot. I love how hard it has become to score these films since none of them are actually awful. I love this series you guys are doing. But you really need to pay closer attention to the film's. Maybe you're having too big a gap between watching them and filming the review but the amount of stuff you forget is unreal.

This is where I got fatigued on the MCU. I was hoping for something along the lines of Enter the Void, but what we got instead was a hollow, by the numbers movie. Thankfully it has turned around a bit and the recent entries aren't as trite as Doctor Strange. I don't think it's bad, but at no point was I ever really engaged with what was going on. Too much exposition for too little internal consistency and character growth. More coherent and memorable than Thor, but just as boring.

I think all of Greg's issues stem from the Magic not being very well defined. The Magic isn't very powerful, the only have two-three moves. Everything looks cool, but any thought into it breaks the Magic in it. The most powerful Sorcerer Supreme can essentially only fold things in on thsmevels, teleport, and create shield/weapons out of Magic... that's it... that's all the Magic.
