I count myself blessed that I almost never notice bad cgi in movies. I'm always amazed when people go back over a movie and talk about bad backdrops or character cgi and I never even thought about it at all.

Captain America 1st Avenger Ragorak didn't play as well on second viewing, I think it's the innate flaw of comedy that the first viewing is always best but once you know the jokes are coming they lose some of their luster. On the other hand, it's the comedy that places Ragnorak so high on my list. I have been a fan of Taiki's New Zealand humor since the days of Flight of the Conchords. It goes without saying that this film is hilarious. What doesn't work so well is the glutton of fake cartoon CG plastered across every frame. This film feels more cartoon at times than live action. Big pet peeve is I wish these marvel films felt more real. (It's why Winter soldier is my #1 as it feels the most real and practical IMO)

Amusing as always. If I may make a suggestion.. How about doing STUDIO GHIBLI movies next? Not the obscure ones, just the titles with international recognition (Spirited Away, Ponyo, Princess Mononoke, etc.) If you guys do Star Wars or Fast & Furious, I feel like we, the best friends, have heard those being discussed plenty over the years. I think doing Studio Ghibli films can potentially reach new audiences. I’ve heard Greg once mentioned liking Howl’s Moving Castle, and Nick has hinted (here and there) that he admires Ghibli films. Would love to hear you guys discussing it further. Thx for reading. Can’t wait to see how Infinity War fares in the ranking.

I thought the storytelling in Rangnarok was pretty good actually, contrary to the discussion they have at 1:32:50. All the characters have interesting arcs, even Idris Elba and Karl Urban’s characters, and the Ragnarok prophecy that was foretold in the beginning came true in the end, but in a clever way that helped them defeat the villain. Plus I though the whole middle of the movie where Thor is in the gladiator arena was WAY more interesting than it could have been. Sure this movie may not have had the political intrigue of something like Winter Soldier, but I was still engaged with what was happening the entire time. I would even say more so than when the story is more politically complex, because a lot of my brainpower in those types of movies tends to go towards making sure I’m keeping up with the story, instead of just enjoying it as it unfolds. So all in all, I thought the storytelling was solid in T:R, if not as complex as something like Winter Soldier.

No one has ever mentioned that Bruce Banner never came back at the end of Thor: Ragnarok. I found it interesting the movie glossed over that fact since Banner had made such a big deal about how he'd never come back earlier in the film. It's also interesting to note that so far Hulk was only seen in two scenes in Infinity War trailers, which most think are the bookends of the film.

Now that we've seen them all in order of release, what do you think would be the best chronological order to watch them all in? I have it something like this: 1. Iron Man 2. Iron Man 2 3. Incredible Hulk 4. Thor 5. Captain America: The First Avenger 6. Avengers 7. Thor: The Dark World (I think this movie takes place closest after Avengers since we see Loki get his justice) 8. Iron Man 3 (seemingly more time has passed between this one and Avengers than Dark World and Avengers) 9. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 10. Avengers: Age of Ultron (Winter Soldier post-credits scene is perfect segue into this film). 11. Guardians of the Galaxy 12. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (takes place months after the first one) 13. Ant-Man Right here is where it gets tricky. I think that only a few months pass in the coming films since Peter still has to be the same age, so I'm thinking the whole Phase 3 takes place in like half a year or something. 14. Captain America: Civil War 15. Black Panther (takes place 2 weeks after Civil War) 16. Spider-Man: Homecoming (takes place 2 months after Civil War) 17. Ant-Man and the Wasp (it seems that this one will also take place before Infinity War so probably somewhere around here since there were some Civil War references in the trailer) 17. Doctor Strange (arguably the film that takes place over the longest time span. I have a feeling this film starts somewhere around Age of Ultron but ends after Civil War due to Strange's long period of training. But hey he appears in Thor: Ragnarok so I figured it's best to watch those two back to back). 18. Thor: Ragnarok (the perfect prelude to Infinity War) 19. Avengers: Infinity War 20. Captain Marvel (I know it takes place in the 90s but I have a strong feeling it will be a big tie-in to the final Avengers film) 21. Avengers 4 Jesus what a comment. Thoughts?

I think these ratings are weighted very heavily towards comedy, which is fine but not really now I would rank. This movie is very funny but has almost no emotional weight. Thor's dad dies, his hammer is broken, an army of soldiers is killed by Hela, Asgard is blown up, and it's all just laughed off and taken in stride. There's a planet where people are enslaved and forced to fight to the death and its all played for laughs. I really like this movie but it seemed almost too fun if that makes any sense

Captain America: Civil War These are my favorites. The rest of them vary greatly in quality and entertainment value. Although, to be fair it’s been a long time since I revisited Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor 1 + 2 etc.

I disagree with this video so much! I loved the movie but should not be ranked 3rd on that list. I feel that guardians vol 2 did everything this movie did but way better. This movie should be ranked lower

Preying Ocelot I know it’s based on their opinion and the rubric they established on the first episode. Lol trust I know it’s just movies and I’m not raging or anything. On my personal list it’s not in my top 10 because yes the action scenes were great, but the success of that movie is based upon its comedy and for myself a lot of the jokes fell flat. I was just saying the kf guys steered away from their established rubric and just placed this movie solely on their opinions. Anyway love the show, love the morning show and games daily lol I’m just a teacher who likes rubrics
