Hello..Doctor V..I'm a 20 year old and want to check my routine with u.. Can I use the ordinary nicinamide after I come back from university like in evening 6pm and then 2hrs before bed i will wash my face and use ordinary reservetrol 3% and ferulic acid 3% with moisturizer offcourse and then double cleanse my face in the morning with DHC oil cleanser and simple micellar gel wash..after that apply moisturizer and sunscreen for the whole day and reapplying the sunscreen every 2 hrs ( Neutrogena sheer zinc ☀️ scream)i actually don't want to use the nicinamide during daytime.. Will this routine be ok Doctor V?? Dr. Hello I have a huge problem. I used Bio balance Glycolic acid 8% peeling serum on my face 3 months ago. The morning after my first use of the product I got a nice glow however by evening I got three large bumps on my face. By the next day these bumps turned to large brown spots. It's been 3 months I have been using a retinol serum but to no avail these spots just keep increasing now I have 6 huge brown spots on my face 😔. What can I do. Dermatologist prices range from $8000 - $10,000. So I can't afford that right now. Sorry for lengthy post. What can I do?

Only focus on to care for your skin barrier atm. Moisturize, use niacinamide and spf and then give a break from exfoliating more. And focus on eating healthy during these times and hydrate well. Shift your concern to internal health by giving time for your face to heal. Don't let worry eat you. Everything will be alright. Don't use glycolic 🙏🏼

Hi Dr V, I notice I get breakouts around my time of month but I also have dehydrated skin (I.e. not oily anymore as I’m almost 39) which is slowly improving after watching some of your videos and focusing on hydrating and using mineral sunscreen. I also have 2 stubborn hypertrophic (i think) acne scars which are burgundy colour. I can’t afford to buy both your ranges at the same time. Therefore do you recommend I get the Trio Blemish range as the first purchase or the Daily Range?

If you have dry skin dont get the trio one as its catered for oily skin and not dry so it will dry your skin out especially with salicylic acid present

Exactly I use this line for when I am on my period but I also have her daily range line too . When I just use the oily range line once a month I also include the cera Pep moisturizer over the fell or only in the dry areas . So it doesn’t matter which one you get because both ranges have Niacinamide but if you think hormonal acne is more noticeable then get the trio blemish line with the Cera pep moisturizer from the other line …I hope this helps and just know the oily skin range doesn’t dry you out at all because I have dry skin too!

This does help, thanks :) I’m seeing the difference in my skin texture and brightness with the daily range already, so glad to hear of someone else doing the same combo dr v routine. I’ve just bought the trio blemish face wash, and the AM + PM gel moisturiser as per the advice on her website for drier skin ( the exfoliator as I’ve already got the one from the daily range which I think is good enough). May I ask how long the dr v range lasts you with daily use?

Does applying compact powder after 10 minutes of application of sunscreen cream 60 eliminates the efficacy of sunscreen? I use compact powder to minimise the white cast of sunscreen

Not if you wait for the sunscreen to set it. I think 5-10 minutes is enough time. But make sure you're reapplying sunscreen every 90 minutes (whatever your bottle says)

I just want something like Victoria Beckham’s Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturiser in the Golden shade, but a non-comedogenic version, if that makes sense? It seems to be extremely difficult to find a product like that that is suitable for acne prone skin and that is fragrance free. Just a beautiful product that adds a nice golden tint your skin :) No spf in it as I wear your inzincable separately. Xxx
