I have C4 hair in sister locks (micro locs). My hair feels softer and thicker. It's all I use now. I love it. My har in length is abt my bra line in the back. I use the leave in conditioner and oil every other day. It lasts longer for me. And I wash my hair 1, 2 or 3xs weekly depending in how much I work out, swim, or sweat.😊 I've used other black hair care brands and they honestly didn't work for me. I really wanted them to bc I wanted to support us.

I've been looking for a leave in conditioner with a heat protectant built in. I like to keep my 4C afro stretched to prevent tangles and breakage by blow drying it after a wash. I'm really excited to try this!... also, I never knew oil was bad for the scalp. Thanks for the info doc!

I had a question about the shampoo - for the peptide complex to be effective should the shampoo be in an airless pump? Second question is what classifies as oily hair? If your hair gets oily the second or third day after your shower, does that mean you have oily hair? Thank you!

I have natural 4C low porosity hair, and I just got my Hair Range this week. I have beautiful Sister Locks that have just been helping my hair grow. I'm so happy and just in love with them. So I used the products, and I def feel the difference in my texture . My hair feels light and not heavy like with my other products. So far, so good, and I am very pleased. I did put some argan oil on my scalp bc it was dry and itchy. I don't have an issue with dandruff so I'll use it very sparingly.

Fabulous video Dr V! If you read this comment I have 2 questions please 1) Can you do a mini series for children age 11 to 16. There bodies are developing quicker, my 12 year old has started acne and has real tanning from our holiday to Greece from 2 weeks ago. How can I control and reduce. I have Sister Locks, and I use the products. They make my hair feel light and soft. My hair is at my bra line, so it's reasonably long. This week after my wash I used the leave in conditioner and oil twice this week, and my hair doesn't feel dry. My hair with other products feels dry for at least 7 days after I wash until the products kick in. And I have to use them daily until the softness and moisture kicks in. I hope that makes sense.

Currently on 5% niacinamide twice a day and 0.5 retinol (ordinary) HS, alternate days , for the last 1 and a half weeks.. Applying Neutrogena sheer Zinc spf 50 sunscreen on a regular basis too.. I have been experiencing inflamed scalp for almost 10 years since the age of 16. I've been to so many dermatologists and they didn't help at all. They said this is due to stress, and lost 3/4 of my hair claiming this is a condition called Telogen effluvium. There arent many products that focuses on Scalp and hair care. 😤

Congratulations Dr V first of all. Type 4 hair were brought up on putting oil on your scalp. Please elaborate more as my understanding has been to always oil the scalp - maybe not daily.
