I love all of the fan reaction videos I've seen for the 50th anniversary special of Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor. I thought I'd try and put a few of them into one video so that the reactions could be seen simultaneously.
I've never edited anything before and found it extremely difficult. I know there are a lot of issues with my final edit but for a first attempt I'm pretty proud of it. I used PiTiVi on Ubuntu 13.10 and it kept crashing. I couldn't get the videos exactly where I wanted them and I totally gave up on trying to mix the audio. Also they kept going out of sync. It took me a full two hours to do the above. Huge respect to those who edit videos, it's really hard work!
PLEASE visit the youtubers who's videos I compiled above, their videos are all great fun and I hope give you as much enjoyment as they have given to me! My compilation only takes a little bit of their respective reactions, go to their individual videos for the full experience to see how they reacted to other parts of the 50th!

Honestly, I have to say, this was perfect to me. No debate as to how Ten left, and it actually makes me feel like the actual last line was subconsciously set up by his realization that he's heading for his home stretch.

I love how everyone stopped smiling, the first doctor who anything I ever saw was "The Day Of The Doctor" and I thought that line was weird, then I watched "The End Of Time" and I got it

Is there a youtube playlist with reactions for that episode? I probably won't do that one to be honest as these are frustrating to edit. +TheKilldozer38 I feel it was Moffat pointing fun at how overly dramatic that regeneration was... let's face it, RTD didn't make it easy for Matt Smith to take over the role, because he made such a long and mournful goodbye to Tennant, there are fans that were claiming for him to come back to the role for the 12th Doctor, which goes against the theme of change the series is known for

It wasn't so much that that I liked, it's the fact that Matt Smith acknowledged it and said He always says that. A link and closure to the Tennant era :)

Alanna Trebond He DOESN'T always say it though, that's the problem. He said it once in privacy and Matt Smith acts like it's his damn catch phrase or something. It's so forced I laughed.

Wow, I don't understand how that got such a reaction. I think it was the worst line David said all episode. It was so forced. The only reaction I have was a small smile and an eye roll, but it seems as though everyone else was crying buckets...

I suppose it's because it brings back memories of Ten's regeneration scene which was itself very emotional. In the cinema I'd say the majority acted as the fans in this mashup did. It was great to witness. It's a forced line, sure, but I thought it worked rather wellI as part of an episode cellebrating the past and hence this sort of thing is inevitable, and I can't think of a better way for Twn to exit the episode. I like that people can have different levels of reaction to the same stimulous, makes life interesting :)

The reason Moffat's done it is so there is no doubting his final line, it's still the same, probably to stay respectful to Russell as well.

Actually, that wasn't a forced line( at least during the End of Time) David was actually the one who came up with that line. It wasn't even in the original script, but after David said it, Russell liked it so much he kept the line. Moffat added that in just to screw with us and break out hearts a second time... And it worked.
