This was my first Dalek story I watched as Peter became my Doctor. At around the same time, Fine Art Castings released their Dalek white metal kit...so I was smitten by the black and grey used in the story. My brother painted his silver with blue balls, and from memory or pictures in DWM I painted mine 'Resurrection grey' I should be picking the childhood Dalek up next week, and if I get one of these sets, then it will be interesting to see how a teenager interpreted the colours with so little reference. Five Doctor's is a firm favourite so far, along with the green WW2 variants. Talking of variants, why do they stupidly putt the variation in two boxes with a main character!!!???? Put both the the variations in the same box or singular, not with a Doctor, main Dalek, or companion, just leaves army builders with multiples of 'meh!' Bloody toy companies!!!!

I’m trying to remember what my first Dalek story was. I’m sure it was Destiny Of The Daleks but I was scared so didn’t watch the whole story. I am really impressed by the Emperor Davros single box. I think they should do this going forward and leave the two packs for army building like the Revelation set. I’m definitely taking my Daleks with me when I next go to London. 👍😉

I'm really with them yesterday found them in my local b&m store and found the last emperor davros in other b&m which I still keep the old emperor davros for the 7th doctor and new one can be with 8th doctor like that big finish story so he can have more things I still think the dalek set could of been a three pack the way I open the box I use a small cutting pen and cut the bottom and the sides till get the daleks slide out and it works really well I still can't wait for the 9th doctor daleks sets it be my 20th anniversary next year since I seen them glad we got them keep up the good work 😊👍

Nice one. I’m glad you were able to get them. I tried opening Davros with a blade because I really wanted to take some photos of the Mothership bridge backdrop but then ended up ripping the bubble off.😂 Video coming soon. If you like The Parting Of The Waves you are going to absolutely love the new Dalek 2-pack. I didn’t really want any more new series bronze Daleks but these are so different, especially the blow torch Dalek who cuts the door down to get to Lynda.👍😉

Yeah the one with the emperor davros backdrop is really tricky I still think should be a window it keeps the emperor more hold and better and yes definitely for wave 2 sets more daleks for 9 definitely

An update on my hunt, I went to one of my local B&M on Wednesday and I saw the one without the Dalek 1-7 variant as it was the only Resurrection set on the shelf. I wasn't too fussed on getting the variant so I just picked it up, also saw the Davros figure (there were loads when I picked one up) and got that too. Both are decent sets, overall. 👍

I’m glad you were able to pick up both sets. I honestly wasn’t fussed about which Resurrection set I got but then when I saw loads there, I couldn’t help myself. I’m completely blow away and the Davros is amazing. I’m so glad that I finally have him, and for £12.99. Unbelievable price. All hail B&M, the God of all Daleks!😂👍🪠

@@MartinFutter70 I worked a number of years in retail and B&M's distribution to POS seems pretty rubbish. I wish Character Options would use a more reliable and consistent retailer for the classic figures, I've been all over north Staffordshire and found zilch.

My local B & M has stock of The Dalek Twin Pack and The Emperor Davros we do have 3 B & M Stores local to me and Character have just emailed to say that the Ruby & Ncuti Twin pack has been despatched

The 2 Daleks in my Resurrection set, both Dalek base's are pretty scratched is that supposed to be the look ? Maybe battle scarred ?

Yeah, it’s supposed to be there although I don’t know how accurate it is from the episode. I went back to my local B&M today looking for a Davros for a friend of mine. They are all sold out but there are loads of the Resurrection sets.👍😉

Yes, I agree, after all there was alot going on in that story so it makes sense, I'm in Merseyside and we've had the same problems getting hold of Emperor davros, it took me a couple of weeks to get my 2, I think alot of the B&M stores get delivery's on a Wednesday and then put it out Thursday mornings, a helpful store manager told me, hope you get sorted mate
