Doesn't feel like she's her own Doctor. Just comes of as a discount version of 10. Her only unique characteristic is 1st female Doctor which is not really setting a great standard. Doesn't help that the writing the last 2 seasons has been average at best.

Great actress, bad writing. Chibnall is just a bad choice as the showrunner. Pretty sure they could redeem the series if RTD or Moffat would be willing to oversee again, but with the rumors of Jodie leaving the show it just might be too late.

I just watched her first two episodes and like her already. I don't see people's problems with her. She seems like the typical Doctor to me. It took me a long time to like 12. I guess he was just too different. Especially from 11 (my first and still favourite Doctor), but 13 is great. 😊

I think a lot of people don’t like her because she doesn’t really have her own thing (ex: 9 sarcasm, 10 flirty, 11 nerdy bow tie man, 12 rock grandpa, etc) But considering the writing Jodie Whittaker has to go with she’s doing the best she can. I don’t hate 13, I hate the episodes she’s in (not to mention her companions...) I hope this helped you understand why people don’t like her as much as the other doctors

@@kate-fw3zf I didn't see anything special from her yet. So that might be it. That would be no reason for me personally to dislike her though. I think 10 has nothing special as well and I like him regardless. I just don't understand why he seems to be everyone's favourite. He is basically just a standard Doctor to me. I like him, but 11 and 12 are more unique. I guess 9 too, but I sadly haven't had the opportunity to watch his episodes yet. I hope I will see some quirks or something from 13, that the others don't have. I like it when the Doctor's incarnations have their own personality (with his most defining characteristics as the core of course). I hope you can understand what I mean. English is not my first language and it was a little difficult to find the (hopefully) right words.
