I really appreciated all the little bits of foreshadowing to the reveal, even little things like the phone actually being red. You've really managed to evoke the spirit of a RTD-era contemporary Earth story here, it was really comforting to watch in the same way those were. I'm really loving the cast as well, they bring a lot of warmth and wit to their roles, while still doing the more sincere scenes very well.

Brilliant story. Love the fact that the Doctor is stuck on earth, definitely pertwee era vibes, loved the inclusion of the dematerialisation circuit! Wow! This was phenomenal and the best episode you have made so far. This is no doubt my favorite season that I have seen from you guys. I also absolutely love the attempted hug scene at the end with Megan and Tommy. That was hilarious and the theme of family in this episode is awesome. I also love how Tommy seems to be eating something in every episode so far. First it was the cookies and now it was the pickled eggs. Again, this episode is just brilliant! So excited for the next one!

Somehow I did feel betrayed upon the opening scene and the reveal of who the villain is however the performances and visuals were so good I didn't care. Great to Dominic Martin as the Doctor again after How Time Flies. Sarah Cooper gave such a brilliant performance. And everyone else did a good job. Well worth the wait.

Perhaps the enforced covid break helped you guys up your game, even though I loved you anyway! The effects, the story, the character development, the intro scene, the music throughout. All 10/10. Such effort has been put into this. Shame there isn't an award for fan films etc. Perhaps I might start one. Congratulations! You are this years winner!

Loved the return of the Slitheen introduced in the Ninth Doctor's 2 parter, Aliens in London/WW3. This episode did really harken back to the sequel episode, Boom Town and with that mom who also wanted to get home. Again, great writing, acting, character development (love the flirting between Megan and Tommy and was so hoping to see it happen). Luke, you and the actors did a good job of setting that up and their chemistry sells it. Love ❤️ that Megan's mom is also getting developed more and Dominic's Doctor is reminding me more of 3 with the Venusian Akido but also I see some elements of 2 (or 11) and maybe 7? as well so if he can pull off traits of Patrick, Matt, Jon and Slyvester with maybe a touch of Peter, I think we may have something very interesting in this new Doctor. The production values keep just getting better and better so the sky's the limit on where this season can go. Loved the teaser for episode 3 and looking forward to your "Groundhog Day"...reference to American movie starring Bill Murray that I'm sure you're familar with...episode! I so hope that RTD is aware of DW2012's efforts in fanfilmdom as I think he would be very impressed and appreciative of your callbacks to his era as the first producer of New Who (and soon to be the latest one)...maybe there might be a place for some of you in Cardiff on the set of the latest production of the official series!

That was amazing! I really enjoyed this episode and I to me it feels like an early 21st birthday present considering it's in a couple of days. Loved the story, writing and effects. Everyone's acting was fantastic, really cool seeing James again, I thought did a brilliant job as Omega and captain Ward. Loved the return of the Slitheen and that costume was magnificent. Great episode. Good story. Could tell it was the Slitheen from the flickering bright light when The Brig opened answered the door. But this did not detract. Cracking adventure, brilliant quality, keep up the great work DW2012.

This was hands down, amazing quality. It felt and looked like the real deal. Loving the return of the Venusian Aikido! (seriously, it was 3's way of fighting if there was no way around it). There were little clues leading up to the clues of the Slitheen family--the way Tommy had a vinegar based snack wherever he went, the mention of a 'big family' that clashed with the history of the real character, and the tell tale lights as she finally decided to reveal her true form. And of course, yet more people were initiated into the sheer mess that is their death explosions. Not one of them saw that the Doctor's warnings were quite literal...and that he went inside.

Re-watching this just after re-watching Flatmates just made me notice the doctor who let Megan get back into Unit through the back door is the doctor from the finale! Wonderful work as usual! A professional finish to everything; I'm particularly impressed by the Slitheen costume. Megan's acting continues to go from strength to strength - her range is exceptional. I like the dynamic between Fraser and Tommy, something of a double-act, providing action and mild comic relief. I'm delighted that the Brigadier is still on the UNIT payroll - Dale has really grown into the role: We need the Brig! There were some great moments when Dominic delivered a commanding performance and he truly embodied the Doctor. It must've seemed a daunting prospect taking on this role, as Luke left some big shoes to fill (metaphorically speaking). I like the juxtapostion of Nessa and Angela as two very different kinds of mothers - it added another layer to the already richly-layered storytelling. All in all, quality Whovian entertainment.

It balance s out 21st century stuff with the late 20th century stuff wonderfully. Thanks for the upload. Pity that I didn't actually got to watch this on original transmission though, I must admit.
