Oh my gosh! When the 4th Doctor comments that Leela was found "in a hat box travelling down the Amazon", that immediately reminded me of the 11th Doctor telling Jo Grant (in the Sarah Jane Adventures entitled The Death of the Doctor) that the reason the TARDIS couldn't locate her was all the things she had done over the years including when she had been "travelling down the Yangtze in a tea chest". It never occurred to me that that quote was referencing the Fourth Doctor's quote!

Tom was the funniest though. Sometimes the fans, including me, can be guilty of forgetting about Tom's incredible wit and tremendous gift for humor. At the same time Tom's Doctor could be a little dark, grumpy but incredibly charming and caring at the same time.

5:36 I saw that "interruption" when it aired in Chicago. I had even taped part of it (but I threw the tape out eventually). I didn't know what to make of it. The best thing was that the "interrupter" picked one of Tom Baker's worst episodes to mess with (Horror at Fang Rock).

I think it's the unknown is what makes it creepy. No one knows who performed the stunt yet that person infiltrated peoples homes that night, twice and disappeared into the night. In an age of mass broadcast television, telephones, radios, cameras, video recorders, computers, even back then, the idea of someone doing this and getting away with it is kind of disturbing. How can we have recorded and then lost someone who projected themselves to so many people? Creeeeeeeeepy 😂

Since everybody is so busy commenting on K-9 and Max Headroom then I guess it's up to me to notice how absolutely damn funny and adorable Tom Baker is thru out this video. This guy had a great gift for knowing how deliver lines with perfect comic timing. Great series of clips that had me laughing quite a bit. Tom is amazing and my favorite Doctor now.
