Sonic screwdriver would defuse the mine . A hero would send the Companion back to yard is and safety. Spends hours doing nothing. when should have taken charge. instead ... Crying..(selfishly) about his feelings. NOT a hero ... NOT the Doctor .

This 'series 1' in my opinion is shite so far and the 'braking down barriers' and 'messaging' of RTD2 is a complete turn off. He is sexualising Doctor Who, its supposed to be a kids programme fundamentaly...... 20 yrs ago RTD gave us Torchwood, and it was brilliant, there is no need to sexualise Doctor Who whatsoever. This episode was better than the first two, because it didn't have as much messaging or pushing of transvestism or pronoun education! Flawed and I recall past Doctors would've got off that mine in a breeze nor would they melt like a sissy making the time to detonation shorter! Really disappointed in Moffat tbh.

It is the best so far in this awful series. It had some nice things to say about Dads. But I could see the way Dr. Who was going during a Peter Capaldi episode. A male timelord died and regenerated as a woman and said " How do you put up with all that ego?". Can you imagine this being allowed the other way around? I didn't like Colin Bakers Dr. Who, but I wasn't called racist for not liking it.
