Forget Death Eaters or Orcs or Droids or Klingons. Forget Azazel or Crowley or the Emperor Daleks are the most epic of all the villains, and Davros is the most insane and power hungry. Anyone who says differently is kidding themselves; out of all those listed above, the Daleks were the only ones able to conquer large swathes of the universe not just once, but over a dozen times.

Personally I find Cybermen and Borg scarier. Don't get me wrong, the Daleks are great, and I love them, but I think the Borg and Cybermen are scarier because they don't want to kill you, they want to make you like them.

I remember the first time I saw the Cybermen; I was about eight or nine years old and I saw Tomb of the Cybermen when chainsaw voiced monsters climbed out of catacombs and attacked, you guessed it, archeologists (and the Second Doctor, Jamie the Scotsman, and Victoria)

It really shows how great the writing is on both incarnations of Doctor Who when you can make a the most powerful antagonist of the show a tin can with a toilet plunger sticking out. Oh and by the way, if this was a real film, I'd watch it in a heartbeat.

Yeah, they sure have been misused. I couldn't find your video (despite searching) but I agree. I mean, take Destiny. For some reason they need Davros, despite the fact that he's been dead for hundreds of years. I mean, what's that all about? It's like us suddenly deciding we need Sir Isaac Newton, so we dig him up from Westminster Abbey, and he's alive and well and mumbling some drivel about a secondary life support. And suddenly the Daleks are robots for some (no) reason, but there are Kaled mutant blobs lying around on Skaro. Or perhaps you meant their appearance in Dalek Invasion of Earth? A million years before the events in Serial B? What a load of bollsense!

Day of the Daleks special edition - it's a fantastic edit of the serial - replaces the naff dalek voices and makes the battle sequences much larger as the original only had 3 daleks)
