@@DrWhoFanJ Well it appears the KZbin censorbots have deleted my original reply so here it is again, this time without sarcastic reference to the primary female sex organ: 1. Less people are watching the show than ever before hence the lowest ratings. It's that simple. 2. So these same fans who love Barbara, Polly, Zoe, Liz, Jo, Sarah Jane, Lela, Romanas 1 & 2, Ace, Rose, Martha, Donna, River Song, Amy, Bill and a whole host of other strong female companions and supporting characters hate 13 because she's a strong female character? Seems legit. 3. That's a no true Scotsman fallacy. I don't like the new season found it boring, cringy and dull. I would rather have a male doctor with an alpha male personality but I don't mind a female doctor. I just hated Jodie as the the doctor. The episodes focused more on am pc agenda then the monsters. This works with some episodes in doctor who like Vincent and the doctor but failed in s11 as all the monsters were lame. I'm not a sexist this is my opinion and you can agree or disagree it's all down to your personal preference don't let someone tell you what to think.

@Sean Rea m8 I hate s11 I'm not sexist or rasist I just found the stories really boring and uninteresting. There was some agendas which I can't see how j missed but that's not the point Yes I would rather have a male doctor and a strong female companion but I don't mind the doctor being a woman. Jodie however in my opinion is the wrong choice. The point is you can't just go round calling s11 haters sexist or rasist because like me most hate it due to story not the fact they are sexist.

When David Tennant regenerated into Matt Smith, I thought they had ruined Doctor Who, 3 seasons later and Matt Smith became my favourite Doctor, and I wept when he regenerated. When Matt Smith regenerated into Peter Capaldi, again, I thought they had ruined Doctor Who, 3 seasons later and he became one of my favourites, and again, I wept when he regenerated. I have to admit when Peter regenerated into Jodie I had my reservations (not because she’s a woman, I’ve always thought the doctor should be a woman as well as a man) but only because I loved Capaldi so much, but now, she is growing on me, she IS the doctor. My point being, give it time, if you don’t like her by the end, fine, but she will grow and progress as time goes on, and I’m sure I’ll be weeping when she regenerates into the 14th incarnation

That's why I disagree if it's still brought up he should have a spin off nowadays, because they're so great and even confirmed canon in "Night of the Doctor." That's why I personally think it would be best that they animate those episodes as they have with missing episodes from the 1st and 2nd Doctor. Absolutely LOVED this update! I specifically loved the way you transactioned from Capaldi to Whittaker, as well as using 13's theme! It perfectly summarises that she is the fresh new start 12 wanted, and that theme and her quotes tie it all together beautifully. I will say I am a TAD disappointed that you didn't include 13's "Oh brilliant!" I thought that was a strong start to the character and why I personally think it should've been there. Also there wasn't enough clips of Season 11, and not many quotes from 13 either from it (because despite what people say about Season 11 there were a lot of great lines from 13!) All in all I really enjoyed it 👍
@tardiselliottrailers5 жыл бұрын
thanks for the feedback, I've used the "Oh Brilliant" line in a couple of other vids so didn't want to use it again. I literally had goosebumps watching this. I started watching Doctor who with Matt Smith as the Doctor but also watched a fair amount of clips of the other actors who played the Doctor as well to see what this character was in the past. I almost considered to stop watching the show when Matt Smith left because I really liked his Doctor but I´m glad I gave Peter Capaldi the chance to show me that change is not so bad. He had adventures how the 11th Doctor may not have (at least with the same manner) and I enjoyed them. You nicely showed how the show developed and changed and for me at least it seems to have kept this feeling of adventure, fascination and wonder. :)

Some of the later episodes were destroyed (including quite a few of the Second Doctor's episodes), but even most of those have been reconstructed in some form, so you can still get the stories if you want. I will say that the pacing of a lot of the early episodes is a lot slower, and you can tell they were making it on a very small budget, but there's some good stuff there. People seem confused as to why 13 is so bubbly. After everything 12 went through, at the end he said 'I let you go', as in he let go of everything, all the dark, all the sad, he WANTED to regenerate into someone kind, someone who LAUGHS HARD, RUNS FAST, AND IS KIND. And that's exactly what 13 does. 13 is the Doctor reborn, and not just because she's a woman now. And now with the Timeless Child idea in play, we can watch the struggle begin anew.

This is even better than the Master / Missy Tribute video. One Time Lord, 14 Faces, the Men.... and Woman Who Stops the Monsters. It's a shame some of the negatives ( the rise of the SJW Pudding Brains, horrible reviews...) outweight the positives during Season 11, but I'm one of those fans that say " despite the backlash, and some subparred writing, Jodie Whittaker DID made a dam great first impression as the Thirteenth Doctor. She brilliantly silenced the naysayers...drop the mic ". Yes, I did watch all 10 Episodes of Season 11..... and Resolution as well, I'm glad Resolution did not only resolve the Direction of Season 11....it salvaged the Season from ending up as the " sore thumb " of all the Seasons of NuWho. This is a Masterpiece...a TRUE tour de force of 55.02 Years of Doctor Who, packed in a 10 1/2 visual treat. As 12 would say " because I ❤️ it! It's difficult because we are in a time of sensitive progressiveness. I believe if she was casted early, say around a proper 10th regeneration (when he got shot by a dalek), it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Sure gender maybe, but not a big issue as it is today. Sure I didn't like certain things that I do feel attack past doctor. BUT I feel it as she battling through this new new change It's one thing getting use to a new body but now a new gender. So it's understandable in the Doctor Who universe why the Doctor is very different. Just wish the writing was better :P but that's just me.

"They will never make Doctor Who a woman, I think they should but they never will." Words I said to my Mother in Tesco the day before Jodie's announcement. Words eaten.

This was excellent, you do good work, keep it up i finished season 7 of the classic era and can't wait to catch up (i've seen bits of the modern era) i'm also recording my thoughts for future generations who decide to go back to the beginning

If my calculations are correct that puts you just starting my favourite Doctor of All time Jon Pertwee. All I can say is buckle up, it's a heck of a ride.
