A female doctor would rock! Same sassy cleverness as 9 - 11 but a bit feminine and strong, maybe even a dash of Rivers sexy playfulness? It would definitely confuse the crap out of the doctors enemies and omg what if the doctor ran into jack as a girl? She would look him up and down and just look at him sternly and say "no." And walk away. And when the get stuck help a planet/ race/ town she's like "step away let me handle this" and a guy tries to stop her because she's a girl she just looks at him confused and ignores him and completely destroys the enemy in some epic way as usual and the men are like "but your a girl..." And she's just like "that's right monkeys I'm a girl, you got a problem with that?" And just swaggers of the the TARDIS pulling her companion with her. That would be great in my opinion of course it would be difficult for the doctor to adjust but it would be pretty interesting in my opinion.
