My wife had acid reflux for 6 months, after waiting 5 months for a gastrosectomy and cat scan it was found she has stomach cancer. We are being positive about this following two chemo and two more before removing her stomach. Then more chemo then she should be ok. Two people i know had stomach removals and now living fine. There is life after stomach cancer. It's a rough journey but we will be better for it afterwards.

The reason people get diagnosed late, is not because people don't go to the doctor, it's usually because doctors first diagnose patients with gastritis, indigestion or ibs. Precious time is lost when in many cases it's actually cancer. I think doctors should rule cancer out first, before treating for other digestive issues.
@maureenobrien98152 жыл бұрын
This is the case with so many things. You get an impressionistic diagnosis, particularly if you have a pre-existing condition they can pin it on.. I have had that happen. Currently, I have pain that they have not definitively diagnosed. You go to a GP, then a specialist, then another one, tests all inconclusive or with ambiguous results that send you to another specialist. The older you get, the less likely they are to really listen to you. Meanwhile the pain persists and you worry whether they will ever find out what it is. You feel like you're nuts and start to think you'll die before you get a diagnosis. It caused a lot of hopelessness.

Big facts some of these damn doctors don't do there job like I told my doctor that I had blood in my stool and I'm having difficult swallowing it's crazy and I'm just laying in bed and feel like cancer is running through my body I'm losing fat

Or rake into consideration more & more younger people are getting these types of cancers.. Doctors no matter what should take what a patient tells them serious. I've now been diagnosed with Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis & Ulcerative Proctitis..my normal Bowel movement has been consistently the same someday a bit more exhausting then usual & is more intense but the same consistency..the frothy acid water poops🥵. No matter how much I change my diet or restrict my diet & follow every diet plan given to the very T...my BMs have been the same since 2008 first showing symptoms in my 13. I'm 33 today. The last 4yrs..my rectal bleeding has become so intense most times my BMs are nothing but blood. & of all shades..black to dark red to red to light red to the point where I've become very anemic so bad I have to take iron pills to even have a menstral cycle which have alwaysbeen the same my whole life.. now it's either very late or very late until I take iron pills then they kick in & are so intense I soak a tampon & pad both in two hours....I've been suffering constipation & the last 10months they've become so bad I honestly feel my intestines don't have it's function almost at all..I have a painless hard immovable mass in my lower left quadrant that I feel is blocking my BMs..I'm on everything I love sitting on the toilet right now. I'm gonna give that Mass some pokey pokes & see if I can get a BM going.. it's going to be absolutely excruciating & pooping has become very scary to me🥺

@@king-bs3wuTo some doctors patients sound like the teacher in Peanuts; we make a lot of sound, but they don't understand us, or even listen. Then you get a perfunctory diagnosis and "come back if you feel the same in a few weeks," or months because try to get a timely appointment, it doesn't happen.

Please keep finding a doctor that listens, don’t live in horror of doctors. It’s in my liver, I’ve lost so much weight, I’ve had two kids with cancer, lost my mom, from blood cancers, please listen to your body. You are this valuable. Please, & know, I’ll share this next week w/ seeing this doc that’s heard me. It certainly wasn’t the emergency room. Have a good mind set and learn to forgive. If you worry a lot, sometimes on menial things, then it creates bad chemicals in the body. Notice your stomach feels acidic? Hey my stomach pain comes with slight burning and discomfort I can’t exactly say it’s direct pain but it started after I drank some carrot and mosambi juice kept in fridge for few hours and ever since I drank that the symptoms of burning showed up, the night I drank it my stomach felt a lot of pain and burn like when someone is going to have diarrhoea but when I sat on the toilet the stools were completely normal. I check my stools every morning as well it’s normal and yesterday I got ultrasound and got diagnosed with fatty liver and gastric, last night I had pork and snails and it didn’t felt anything until I had a sudden shock like I saw fire on the switch and then my stomach started to burn with pain slowly and it progressed as I lay on my bed restless sweating and weak with nausea as well and the burn was felt upto my chest it felt warm it was torturous I thought I could die it was getting worse and I sat on the toilet for hours even after 4 hours or maybe 5 it got a little better but the burn pain kept making my leg twirl. Today my upper body feels as if I’ve worked out yesterday.... And during the day today it feels completely normal but as the night begins I slowly get the discomfort again now I’ve had my dinner with only rice and some greens and a banana I’m waiting on a chair sitting straight to see if anything happens... Does anyone have any idea what it could be ? Do I have to be concerned ?

The best presentation I have seen on the topic. Thank you for your effort. About 8 weeks ago, I began experiencing nausea. I had been taking simvastatin about 3 weeks at the time (for low HDL). I discontinued it. The illness progressed with what felt like a virus, with symptoms which felt like gastritis, generalized abdominal discomfort, periodic bloated feeling, periodic mild heartburn and loss of appetite, which still hasn't returned to normal. I was ill for a couple of weeks, also with fatigue, intermittent nausea, indigestion (no vomiting), and the periodic taste of stomach acid in my mouth. I became severely depressed and anxious (emphasis added) which didn't help matters. Now, 8 weeks later, and I'm still having stomach issues. About a week ago, the the symptoms went completely away for about 5 days, but now they are back. When I wake in the morning, my stomach feels better, but in the afternoon and evening my symptoms return. Blood work normal. Abdominal and pelvic ultrasound normal. Esophagram normal, except for some mild motility disfunción. I have no problems swallowing. I was treated for H. Pylori, even though the test was negative. I finally found an ENT that does Trans nasal endoscopy, and I will be having my esophagus and stomach viewed in the next week or two. But Doctor, I'm still very anxious and depressed. Do my symptoms present like a gastric malignancy? Thank you Doctor..
@DoctordanielgonzalezMD7 жыл бұрын
Symptoms of cancer don't come and go. They grow progressively and tend to get worse with time. Let's wait for the results of the endoscopy. It will be very interesting to know how the esophageal mucosa is and if any gastric ulcer is causing your symptoms. Good luck!

Thank you Dr. Daniel Gonzalez your Video content is very informative.. Educational to the point of bringing awareness about Stomach cancer. A fatal form of Cancer.. A friend of mind has passed away with this cancer. Its only 8 months after being diagnosed and he died.. He did not submit to any operation. And he became too thin... From 158 lbs. He went down to 85 lbs and died.. Normally Cancer is detected late, because a lot of people are not submitting to any Cancer Screening Test yearly. They only do it when the Symptoms are very far advance!.. Dear God please HEAL all patients with stomach cancer or any form of cancers too, in Jesus name Amen... Thank you Dr. Gonzalez. Keep safe always.

I took supplements on a empty stomach and ate chilli on top of it. It cause me to vomit for a week and I really couldn't eat anything for 3 weeks. I am now eating more and getting better. I've had CT scan, ultrasound, x-ray and blood work they checked my liver, gallbladder pancreas, kidneys, heart, lungs and everything came back normal thank God. Its been 3 months and I'm still healing my gut. I inflamed my stomach lining pretty bad I thought I had cancer. Doctor told me it takes a while to heal. I now have to stay off Google because it caused my anxiety to go through the roof thinking I had cancer. Google was the reason I ended up going to the emergency room 6 times in 2 months to get all those tests.

I had a friend who died from pancreatic cancer 13 years ago and wish I had known before then what I am going to share now.. Cancer from food comes mainly from meat. To help yourself from getting or fighting cancer try eating less meat and more plant food like kale, spinach, collard greens, cabbage, peppers (spicy and non-spicy), beets, beet leaves, and nuts especially Brazilian nuts, and walnuts. Brazilian nuts have the highest amount of a mineral named 'Selenium' which is most effective at fighting and preventing cancer. Cancer cells also feed on sugar, so if a person is already diagnosed with cancer, avoid sugar and products with added sugars (like white flour products). Look for sugar content on food packages. People really don't need to consume more than 32 grams of sugar daily. The combination of Calcium (which is reportedly known for killing cancer cells), Magnesium (which cleans the blood), and Vitamin C (the healing vitamin) can also help fight and prevent cancer. Exercising daily (even if it's just for one hour) and avoiding any type of smoking would also be helpful. Hope this helpful to someone.

Perhaps an option would be is to have o n e's stomach removed as long as the cancer hasn't spread to other organs.

Hi! My father, who is 47, have been suffering with stomach pains in the side of his stomach for months or years (I'm not sure because I always seen him complain about the ache in the side of stomach for so long). The pain goes to his back sometimes and usually shows when he is stressed out. I told my father to go to the doctors (I am only 15 and I worry for him) but he doesn't listen. He doesn't want to go to the doctors. He also has a lump in his stomach (my mother has one too but it's not cancerous, she got it checked) and his stomach bloats up when he is stressed. Other than that he is okay, he doesn't have a bloody stool and he hasn't lost weight. I'm extremely worried for him since my grandma (his mom) had stomach cancer (she's a survivor 💕), and I really love my dad. I recently got diagnosed with H Pylori, maybe he has it too? Is his symptoms something to be worried about? Because I can't stop researching about stomach cancer because I'm so terrified for my dad.
@DoctordanielgonzalezMD7 жыл бұрын
Your father should go to the doctor. It's the best way to find out what's the cause of his symptoms. Encourage him to go. And don't worry so much. You are doing everything you can to help your father.

Thank you for this information. My father had most of these symptoms, but he never complained because he did not want us to worry. But pain got worse until his stool had blood. He died of gastric cancer a few years later. Had we caught the sickness early, I wonder if his life would have been saved, or would his life just be prolonged but suffer in pain. To this date I can't stop thinking about what help we could have sought for him

I feel you I had the same with my mum pancreatic cancer. I would think that it is very very difficult to have a good life after the cancer of stomach or pancreas starts. A lot of ppl ask the same question.. if you hv the idea something is wrong? Go to a doctor.. this doc can't diagnose you w one question. Cancer is a serious problem. Handle your business.. I had Ewing's sarcoma when I was 10.. I had a cherry sized bump on my rib and it was reddish. Then it went away. Over night. I went and saw my family doc and he thought everything was fine, just by looks. But he ordered a x-ray. I had the mass the size of a lemon. Then it took 4 diff doctors to tell me what it was...!! One thought it was cat scratch..!!! Ewings is very rare and that was 1993. Things hv changed a lot. But if you hv to pay $100 to see a doc.. it's worth it..

Exactly, Mario M. KZbin videos can inform, but each person's clinical case has to be managed by a complete medical consult. Medicine is a complex science. It can't be reduced to social media comments.

@DoctordanielgonzalezMD7 жыл бұрын
Dear sqas shah, commenting on a KZbin video is not the right place to resolve personal clinical queries. Medicine is something very serious, and every patient is unique in the suffering of his illness. That's why your doctor always has to do a detailed medical history in which he asks about all the important aspects of the person's health and family history. And if necessary, a careful physical examination must also be carried out. Both elements allow to get a diagnosis. Doing medical consults in a partial and speedy way only leads to mistakes that endanger your health. And I would never think of endangering your health.
