Those water sprays can be a need for folks with really bad water. I live on a farm and, despite a fancy filtration system, my well water’s pH is almost 10. After a few months I experienced angry, sensitive skin. Rather than wash my face with bottled water I use my crappy tapwater and give my skin a good spray of LRP thermal water to neutralize the surface of my skin before proceeding with skincare. It has helped a TON.

And ever since I've had a scar, discolouration and a continuous scab that just wouldn't go away. Since I use this, it has gotten so much better! The scar obviously won't go away. You don’t really need eye cream if your face cream isn’t causing issues, but if you use a face cream with fragrance or strong actives that irritate your eyes, you might want an eye cream. You could also just buy a basic unscented moisturiser to use around your eyes for cheaper than a tiny eye cream. Depends entirely on the ingredients, like definitely don’t use that Laneige lip mask around your eyes. Like he said, a lot of lip products are quite bad and wouldn’t be good around the eyes, but I would be okay with the Remedy lip products around my eyes. Generally, they have different needs with active ingredients, but with basic unscented moisturiser you could probably use it for both.
@minjaarsic332726 күн бұрын
@@JasminMiettunen i use eye cream and an eye serum only because using regular moisturizer causes a lot of milia under my eyes. I've noticed an almost immediate improvement in the amount of milia i get since I've stopped using my face moisturizer on my under eyes and started using a retinal serum and a moisturizing eye cream. but for someone who doesn't have any specific under eye concerns they want to target like darkness, hyperpigmentation, puffiness etc. I'd say just use your moisturizer, *unless* it has active ingredients like exfoliant acids and specifically says not to use around the eyes.

There are some spring waters coming from parts of Alps and Appennines, or some of them near Vulcans, and they have much different properties. Like San Pellegrino water, or Acqua Panna water. They come from specific springs, they have specific minerals who interact with you body differently if you drink them. Same for the Thermae Spring Waters. I just started using towels from The Clean Skin Club 2 weeks ago. I am not going back lol. I absolutely love them. What I do is save them after I use them. I do lots of furniture flipping and I keep the towels to use for my clean ups. Such as using them to clean up smudged paint among other things. So for me they serve a dual purpose. They are so strong and I like the fact I can keep them for other uses like my furniture/craft projects.

Thank you, thank you for addressing lip irritation caused by products! It drives me crazy when influencers talk endlessly about products making their lips dry when in reality, their lips are reacting to something(s) in the product. A good lip product will leave your lips feeling better, not "dry" or "chapped."

Re lip mask -- a hydrating serum on the lips is super-helpful for me -- a drop of Amino Acids +B5 OR Squalane from The Ordinary on dry lips is super helpful for me, and it's already on my shelf (been doing it for yeas, before they rolled out their lip product with this ingredient). I also love a bead of Egyptian Magic used as lip balm at night -- lips are still soft the next day, and the ingredients are super-simple and clean.

I have Lipodermatosclerosis (for anyone who doesn’t know of this condition, it’s chronic venous insufficiency in my legs. My legs are always red and the skin is EXTREMELY fragile. The treatment for this condition is support hose, but the redness in my lower legs never goes away.) I use thermal water on my face all the time. I didn’t think to use it on my lower legs, too. I’ll post my results in a month to see what difference (the way I will use it) will make. It’s simply anecdotal results, but, if it helps, that would be amazing.

Years ago, my facialist said to use paper towels to dry my face. My family has been doing this since. I have paper towel holders in every bathroom, so the are very convenient to use. They may not be as soft as bamboo towels, but they do the job at a very cost effective price.
@pamcanfield2556 ай бұрын
@theoldertwin unless you're using really cheap paper towels I don't see them being cost effective. And cheap paper towels (wood pulp) can cause micro abrasions on the skin. I'll just continue to use my soft microfiber washcloths. I use one to wash, another to pat dry--then hang it up & use it to wash the next day. I wash/dry the other cloth. I do (at least) a load of laundry every day anyway.

I’d love to see a video about healing after the bad tendency of acne picking. I’ve, for a few months ago, stopped picking. It was really bad. Always red swollen bumps on my face, that wasn’t even bad pimples from the first place. Some of them got infected. And some of them were on my eyelids and neck. My skin is still red and I have a lot of new and old scars in different colors of the process🤓 I’ve been using gentle products like Cica Plast Baumé, and when the wounds almost healed, I started using niacinamide every day. But my skin doesn’t seem to get any better from here. I want to know: what do I do now? Just continue with niacinamide and Cica Plast and hope for the best? Is retinol even an option for my skin? Vitamin C? My skin is on the oily side but it’s nothing I’m worried about. The red scars is the biggest problem. Please help me, and others that are struggling with this issue!
