Not only listen to what Tom is saying but know the life he led. He chose not to be a victim of his addictions & mental health issues. If people wanted to know where Tom is coming from, he has been very open with his struggles and has over come them to become very successful in his career.

Great thoughts and analysis. A lawyer, conservative political commentator, classically trained violinist Ben Shapiro teaming up with a face tattooed, former Canadian professional wrestler, counter culture Rapper Tom MacDonald. Only Tom could get Ben on a Rap video and make it work. Tom doesn't just break the mould he shatters it. So Tom's now had a political commentator, transgender podcaster, Black Panthers and a Christian Country singer appear in his music videos, what box do they want to put him in? #HOG UK here for it

Dont worry guys things will be put back to normal again. Putting things back will be difficult . Thank you for sharing your time . Tom and Ben did this starting out as a joke. 😂 Gotta love them.

Please explain “normal “, not having Ben Shapiro rapping, it was an entertaining change and very unexpected and humorous. I am not sure what the current definition of “normal is but hopefully current attitudes and behaviors will Not be the “new normal”, we all have stories, some far more dramatic than others, and to some degree, that is also subjective. As a child and mother, I was completely against public displays that aired dirty laundry in public, I do feel like most of these behaviors are attention getting devices, and I would personally prefer to remain in control of my reactions and actions, for me it’s a form of taking responsibility for your own actions, how do your actions reflect or teach your children how to communicate effectively and rationally. Irrational behaviors lose any validity because the behavior is so over the top that it distracts from your message, maintaining open, calm communication is far more effective, just my opinion, but when we are all trying to out-yell someone, our own feelings are being drown out by irrrational actions.

Tom & Ben executed an epically historic troll on the music labels and the industry as a whole. They got, not just 1 but 2 Billboard #1s for this - One for Hip Hop and one for Rap. Tom leaves people kind of speechless on occasion - lol #hangovergang forever 🤙🏽

This was such a great match-up!! 💕💕 Collab of the Year!! I'm with the Doctor on the left - victims need to understand why they feel they are victims. They need to work through that rather than lashing out. The doctor on the right seemed to be excusing the "victim" for their actions.

#HOG family here for it ❤️ Fun fact: Tom was born in Canada, but immigrated to the United States I think close to 10 years ago, and I know he was working on his dual citizenship he may be a citizen now. I like to incorporate that because I think the perspective from someone who has immigrated to the United States it severely underappreciated. I think that immigrants choose to take the test intend to know more about our history than we do, as well as what are country truly has to offer, including freedom. Which also brings me to the second point, I think I was watching a Michael Knowles breakdown of one of Tom songs I think it was his song America, I do not endorse either side, I see myself in the middle and instead choose base my feelings on that topic around my values and my morals, okay back to my original point, I really enjoy watching Michael Knowles breakdown Tom songs so even though I'm not Republican and I know the daily wire is, appreciate his approach on discussion. So in the song America he spoke about Tom disliking the kneeling for the flag, also burning of the flag which was in another one of Tom songs, hard because yes it is our freedom to do so and is that freedom that we value it allows for people to say burn the flag is there protest, I think he brought up a great point which is the burning the flag actually negates their argument, because without that freedom they wouldn't be able to do it I'd have to look back he said it way better than I can explain it here but that's the gist of it. I think that's why it hits us hard and we are not in agreement of burning the flag or kneeling for the flag because we are able to see the opportunities we are afforded here. It doesn't mean that we should not discuss what's being protested, but maybe there's a better way to bring about that type of conversation because angry people on both sides aren't going to listen. It's a hard place to think about because it does anger me when people desecrate the flag, but I think there are bigger problems here a that we do not know our history so we don't truly understand what it stands for, also a lot of times our judgments clouded by being ingrained in the dysfunction since birth where we have to pick a side and that's really like focused on. So I say all that I find it interesting and I know sometimes when people hear Tom songs they think that he's a right-wing Republican but in actuality he's not a really good song new songs to check out from him that really show his heart and what he believes in is the songs THE MACHINE and SUPERMAN. This song I think it's more of one of those frustration tracks however I I see nothing wrong with it but like I said earlier is it going to encourage people to want to talk not really they're just going to be angry but I think that was the point cuz he was angry that's the whole cycle, none of us are perfect, and because music is Tom's outlet and he uses it as a his therapy these types of tracks happen. His overall theme is unity. I haven't even watched the whole reaction yet so I'm going to go do that just wanted to add this comment before I forgot what I was going to say.

What I find weird is this whole idea that kneeling somehow now means in protest of... up until recently to kneel for something meant to willingly surrender yourself to it... lol and this was the case across the board whether being knighted or offering up ones life, it was never a show of protest before

Tom's has much older songs that show this as well.. castles, American dreamz, his spoken word Anarchy... As much as some may not agree even white boy! Tom from the jump tried opening eyes and starting conversations between all sides knowing how much can be gained with perspective ... much like people such as Dave Rubin, Elon and others Tom did care about whether there was offense taken and did everything in his power to address those feelings in songs that followed ... This House was the first time Tom initially showed hed had enough of chosenly closed minds but tried to keep things light hearted with politically incorrect which he held to until no lives matter but this nee 'lefts' need to blatantly ignore anything they don't want to agree with... **no this is not a jab at the left merely pointing out the few amongst their many who make themselves so loud that people go along with them just to shut them up which leads to others getting loud enough to remind people that their thoughts matter too** The Brave Album is about the time Tom's spirits were breaking as much as his heart that things had gotten so divided in the states... the brave 2 you start seeing that flip into the more frustrated perspective which recently has a new breath of possibility in it I guess you could say. #HANGOVERGANG4LIFE ❤️‼️❤️‼️

They actually procured 2 Billboard #1's and scored another 8 on varying charts! Love seeing people who normally wouldn't listen to this kind of music react to the message. Tom is one of the nicest, most caring people in the industry. As Doctor's, I'd love to see your take on his song "Cancer" and "Coronavirus". (That's assuming you haven't gotten to those yet. I'm 52 now and live in Michigan. I also lived in Michigan on 09/11 too and we were definitely united. For days after it happened I'd go outside and it was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. Then everywhere I looked there was a American flag flying, houses, businesses and almost on every car, too. 2 of my cousins signed up and joined the military because of it. Only one comes home.

We hang two flags. The first one is our Tribal flag as it represents a safe haven for all First Nation Peoples. The other is a smaller American flag to represent our support for the veterans both tribal and citizens who have served.

3:42 I live in Washington State 911 was horrible but yes I remember after that happened everyone came together and helped each other. Every school and family owned company in my city all sent thousands of pounds of different things to New York to help in any way that we could. Cops fire fighters many other people jumped on a bus to go to New York to help with the aftermath of clean up and search and rescue

I think there are two kinds of agency people use to swing away from victimhood, both aimed at reducing the power imbalance that got them there. One is to make themselves stronger (be it physically, intellectually, emotionally, or in whatever way they were overpowered) so that it doesn't happen again. The other is to lash out in an attempt to weaken whomever or whatever they view as having victimized them.

I was bullied, born with a cleft palate and lip, kids can be mean, but what surprised me is many of those who bullied me had home lives that I didn’t have to deal with, I have never understood how people that are miserable at home go to school and make others suffer, my sister works in probation and told me that many that bullied me as adults that had drug and alcohol issues, and she asked me if I felt any better knowing that. But I don’t feel better, some of them had horrible experiences in their childhood, so I definitely don’t feel better knowing that their lives were horrible, I feel badly for them.

Rap in and of itself is a genre that purposely pushes their message right to the border. One thing I think, Dr. Meyler should keep in mind that rap is rappers using phrases like "I'm the man" or "I'm the best." When rappers say they don't care if they offend you, it's usually their way of saying you can complain about my music all you want, but it won't make a difference to me. Rap is a lot like a signature. Once you've seen it and learned its nuances, it becomes difficult to misinterpret.

I think his point is that EVERYTHING offends someone in today's society. So he's going to say what's on his mind. No matter what. BTW, one of the best lessons I learned as a child was, "Sticks and stones..." But now you can get locked up in some countries for misgendering someone while someone who physically attacks, robs, steals or worse gets a slap on the wrist and walks. It's all kinds of wrong.

I'm curious to see what you fellas would think of Ryan Upchurch? Tim is great, but the word play and versatility of church is crazy. Built like this is a great song. You have to know a bit about country life to catch some bars on some songs and some are tied to others songs.
