About motorcycle accidents: Discovered an interesting and sort of funny thing when I was hit by a car. My polyester double knit pants (nearly everything was PDK in the 1960s) were tough as racing leathers. They barely snagged, and all I got was bruises. Can't say if that would be true at higher speeds ...
