There. Finally someone says it out loud and calls this what it is. All this talk about being open-minded, being ready to answer any time of the day and night, and being ready to be the canvas for the artist-genius / photographer / deisgner / manager, etc. So many now really famous female singers, models, etc have mentioned these expectations. While no one is calling it out what it is: expectation of having no boundaries and to mold oneself to whatever form pleases the buyer more. That's in fact expectation to disrespect one's own integrity as human being. But it laid the foundations to careers. Of course, there were also those who (could?) speak their mind, like Yasmeen Ghauri.

How on earth did they get away with taking her first nude photos at 15?! That is shocking and so damaging for her mentally. 😢

Nudity was seen differently.

Oh please! Kate had choice….we always do…..her photos were certainly beautiful…even the ones with Marky! She’s evolved into a great woman, but Kate was always old beyond her time…..men are men…..fortunately it wasn’t a Weinstein or Cosby experience…..she was very beautiful and unique!

Yes, the photos and silent parts of the shoot look mesmerising BUT No, I don't want them if they are a result of violation of someone's consent to be filmed that way, or manipulation of any kind

I wasn’t a progressive but gave a report about these images at the time at Art School and got push back by everyone including the female teacher that this is Capitalism. It’s her choice!

I remember the whole campaign from back in the day. Even then it was weird because she looked like a teenage girl. She was just too young to be portraying the sentient and mood of the campaign. People noticed the creepy element even back then, but powerful men, money hidden behind fashion and art got away with a lot. People noticed the cringe of it all though.

Very creepy and plain exploitation of women.

The crazy thing these rich pedis decided to make modeling kids half dressed a trend. And the fashion culture just ate it up. And they haven't stopped.

CK was gay but still a predator. He went out with models, to pretend to be straight but he wasn’t.

Why are parents allowing their children to do this? She should’ve been in school being a normal kid and not getting naked for pics at 15. Industry is sick 🤢 but also parents are naive

There was a different connection to nudity up to that point It wasn't always seen as dirty A lot was seen as natural
@Ritff666l-e9e5 күн бұрын
but of course there were different aspects There was a more natural relationship to nudity at any age There was also perverts And i also just remembered i was on a photoshoot where things turned shady I was about the same age
