Never cared much about Robert Pattison, but his reaction to his racist fans makes him climb, for me, in respectability. I hope casting directors and production will support antiracist casting process that help to educate the viewers on international standards of civility and society.

I used to love FKA Twigs, but now not so much. She is a very talented woman that cannot stop complaining about situations she puts herself in. She will not give a black man a chance to date her but yet she has the audacity to complain when white people don’t accept her. She must think she is too good to date people of color and that makes her racists against her own kind. As a person of color myself, I am offended by that. She would rather date a man that is known to be troubled and abusive (Shia LeBeouf) than to try dating outside of the white boy pool. I am also tired of her dragging R. Pattinson. He was obviously in a rebound relationship with her and was still processing how his ex girlfriend cheated on him with a married man and the entire world saw photos of it. He tried to move on with his life and I’m sure he had feelings for FKA, but never fell in love with her. You cannot force someone to fall in love with you. Deal with it and stop trying to make him look bad. He said from the beginning that he didn’t agree with the racism towards her and refused to comment about it because it will encourage people to continue to attack her. FKA needs to stop the passive/aggressiveness and do better. It’s not a good look.
@pp33yton2 ай бұрын
first of all so you know FKA Twigs personally? do you know what motivated her to enter into those past relationships? do you know ALL of her dating history? were you amongst her inner circle when these relationships were taking place? no you weren’t, you don’t know her personally and therefore you have no right to accuse her of dating in a specific pool of people nor do you have any right to speak on her relationship with robert p., you don’t even know the full story of those so called “situations” she complains about which she has every right to, you only know what she allows to enter the public domain therefore you don’t know HER at all how dare you victim blame when she chooses to speak up about her experiences with racism and toxic relationships? you don’t know the inner workings of the music industry nor do you know the inner workings of her mind, she deserves a platform to speak up about her experiences however she pleases and how many times she pleases when white artists like Chappell Roan, Taylor Swift etc complain about their experiences in the music industry nobody says that bs but let FKA Twigs do it then she complains Let anyone else talk about their experiences with toxic relationships everyone coddles them but let FKA Twigs do it then she’s putting herself in those situations by choosing to date white men fyi dumbass even if she were to date a black man that doesn’t guarantee that the relationship would be healthy stop blaming her and start blaming the perpetrators racists and abusers you’re a poc and calling a black woman passive aggressive for speaking out?? get out of your plantation mindset sincerely a black girl
@honeybee98072 ай бұрын
@@pp33yton I do not know her personally, but I know what she wrote in her documentary which is what I was commenting on. Do you know her personally? If you do, you should tell her that if she puts her personal business out there, people will comment. Perhaps she should just discuss her music then. As far as white artists like Taylor Swift, they get criticism too. What i was expressing is that she keeps talking about the racism she has faced in her relationship but she herself never gives persons of color a chance. I have yet to see her with a black man. Why? It is a valid question.

Im just confused on how she is considered an artist when she can barely sing live. Where does the art come in? Her success comes from her appearance, not what she puts out. Cause if this is what we are considering art, the bar is low

She has a sweet voice, maybe not the best singer like mariah or whitney, but twigs is not always about the vocals, listen to the instrumentation in her music, video clips, the fact that she does wushu swordfight, pole dance, vogue, etc, she's the ceiling lol not the bar anymore
@femmechatnoir863 Жыл бұрын
@@bagsbugs3024 none of that makes me want to listen to her music. Having actual vocal skills and talent is art. She doesn’t come anywhere close to the bar. There is a reason Beyoncé is an artist. And it didn’t come from swinging on a pole.
@bagsbugs3024 Жыл бұрын
@@femmechatnoir863 you don't have to listen to her music lol, but ya respectfully, I think you're in denial if you think fka twigs is not an artist Just saying that singing is an art form, dancing is also an art form, choreographed sword-fighting is an art form, pole dancing is an art form, directing music videos is an art form, producing music is an art form, and fka twigs does all that and so I regard her as an artist, she might not be the best at singing but being a singer is not the end all or be all in an artist lol and probably you didn't actually listen to that live recording that I sent you lol since it's clear that you're just a hater from the start I think fka twigs is one of the most talented artists ever and if you think she's trash then that's fair enough, I can't and don't need to convince you otherwise...

@@bagsbugs3024 I don’t have any reason to hate on this woman I will never meet. But she is not a “musically” inclined artist. Those other forms of “art” do not make me want to listen to her music. Honestly it sounds like she is over compensating for what she can’t do which is sing. What I am saying is “musically” she is not an artist. Her music is horrible actually. We both know where her success comes from. And it’s not her “art”…
