The Jats are a Aryan Central Asian origin tribe of people. Originally Hindus some converted to Islam and Sikhism. The Hindu Jats and Sikh Jats still marry but not in the same Gotra. The Punjab and Haryana in India has significant Jat population and many Jats live in Western U.P. and Rajasthan. The Jats have their own gotra while the Kshatriyas (Rajputs) and Brahmans share the same Gotras. Punjab has quite a few Khatris a shrewd business class very similar to the Yehudis both nice and cultured people. There is an effort to remodel the caste system of the subcontinent by mainly by outsiders and make the Khatris as warriors. This is to make businessman play an important role to create a controlled society. But in India most Indians are laughing at these idiots since they do not know the depth of our society. There are Khatris in U.P. as well who came mainly from the Jhelum region of the Punjab long time ago. Though businessman as well they have a different outlook from Khatris of the Punjab and are also often are taller and lighter. The Bhapha-Sikhs are all Khatris and are great businessmen. A typical Jat will never marry in the same Gotra or a non-Jat taking our solid traditions into consideration.

Sindhi Jat have always fascinated me. They are hardly found in cities, except Mirjat. Are they related to Punjabi jat idk. But many sub caste of jatt origin also live in punjab as well as in sindh. Such as : metlo or metla, cchajro or cchajra, chachar, khero or khera, virk, wagho or wagha, noonari, and few others

These Jats are the latest wave of jats coming in Indian subcontinent from the middle east in the past these Jats controlled the Silk road trade but after 13h century more trade started through sea so these Jats migrated from the silk road area to India Most of the baloch tribes are of Jat extraction they became known as baloch because of balochi language but by blood many of them are Jats like the Zardaris and Khetrans are baloch Jats.

Upper sindh kay castes jese abro, thebo, wassan or bht sarey sb jat hain lkn wo commonly or mostly apne subcastes se Jane jate hai even in jaat tribe ke subtribes ke bhi subtribes bn gai hain ajj kal or ziada ko to khud bhi nhi pata k unki zaat jat hai rajput jabke lower sindh k jutt commonly jutt hi bole jate hai, jabke unme bhi kai subcastes hai jese fakirani, etc. Difference is lye hai lower sindh jat originally wahi ke hain, jabke Upper sindh ke jat lower sindh se hijrat kr k Upper sindh chale gai or ajj wo mostly educated or traditionally pastoralist ya kheti bari ke professions se hai, isi trah thar k sindhi rajput thore different hai as compared to North and Southern sindh, like somra and samma are rajputs. Generally sindh has 4 regions sometimes 5th is also counted. 1 Uttar (means north in sindhi) 2 Lar (the delta region of sindh) 3 Thar (the desert region of sindh) 4 Kirthar/kohistan (the mountainous regionofsindh) 5 the vicholo (central region of sindh) Or in pancho regions ke sindhi apas me bht different hai in many ways like dialects, culture, thinking, food etc.
