Documentary Pumpingstation IJmuiden - The making of a new super pump (English subtitles)

In 2022, we were commissioned by the Dutch Department of Public Works to supply a super pump for IJmuiden pumping station. This pump is a copy of the two pumps we supplied in 2004. All three pumps supplied by us can each pump 50,000 litres of water per second! The IJmuiden pumping station is the largest in Europe and plays an important role in water management in the Netherlands.
Development, engineering and project management were done from Pentair's Winterswijk branch. Our colleagues from the Service Centre in Beverwijk were closely involved in the production, installation and commissioning of the pump. We manufactured the pump in cooperation with several specialized companies.
