Do you have these for a 2017 Jeep SRT with the Brembo 2 pc rotors up front? Seems like Brembo doesn’t make rings so these would be perfect for not having to buy the whole Demon rotor set up. Your website doesn’t seem to have jeep available.

I’m assuming these rotors work for the Challenger R/T Scat Pack widebody shaker since it comes with the same SRT Hellcat Widebody suspension and six piston Brembo brake calipers?

It depends on what year your car is as far as we know. The disc size increased to 400 mm in 2021.

Their website only lists stuff for vipers. I noticed these are the rotors for the Widebody dodge cars. Do you know if they also have a rotor for the regular dodge cars? They have less bolts around the two piece as well as a difference in diameter. I’ve purchase both styles for a hellcat brake swap on my Charger SRT8 and I haven’t found a lot of helpful info on this topic.

I just got quoted $3700 for rotors and pads on my 2021 Durango Hellcat. Should I go OEM, or aftermarket to save $? I don't race; just normal driving around town so I don't need extra braking performance.

They have racing quality after market parts . I'm doing the brakes on my hellcat challenger now with aftermarket parts there is no way I'm paying 1200 bucks a rotor and 600 for pads that's fucking insane

? I mistakingly purchased the newer Hellcat 400mm rotors, but they do not fit on my 2006 SRT8. Can I purchase the 390mm ring and install in my existing hat? Also are the 6 piston callipers the same for the 390mm and 400mm rotors? Thanks

The 2 systems are almost certainly completey different and not interchangeable as far as hats, rings, and calipers.

@@knsbrakes608 Thanks, sadly they ain't got anything yet, they won't have anything ready yet lol. Local supplier in Ontario filled me in, Had to do with Paragon for the time being. edit: Because my Cars got 400MM rotors not the 390.

Q: is that correct, that you always have to replace the bolts when assembling a new rotor? Regardless if it’s girodisc, AP or dba? Thanks for confirmation.

Yes that is protocol on rotor hardware. It is designed as one time use

so after I put a set of 2 piece rotors on and did some hard braking from the 140 & 120mph speeds, the rotors developed a nasty clicking when slow to stopping braking. they're Dynamic Friction brand. any idea what the fix is? this video has me interested in purchasing those rings for my SRT.

Hi RIP, I know of that brand but have never used it. It sounds like the hardware is at fault which is not a good feeling. We use race track spec hardware and the rotor brands we use and sell have thousands of track miles on them.

If its clicking its probably the surface between the wheel and the rotor hat. Happens often with 2 piece rotors. Clean it with sandpaper or #0000 steel wool

@@stepsidelandscapinglawnsol3093 I hear ya, it didn't start clicking till after multiple hard braking cycles from the 120 to 140 mph speeds. being they're cheap rotors compared to the factory brembos, they most likely warped. took about 100k miles before the factory rotors started clicking, but its only on braking, not turning or coasting.

Could be if there is damage or may simply be from a cosmetic perspective

I would look carefully for any cracks or obvious signs. Life cycle is not a known spec - for the manufacturer's they replace every time. We have seen almost no worn Brembo style rotor hats on these (or other 'Brembo' 2 piece disc cars)

Around 30lbs is how much exactly. Why did you not weigh just the new rotor? This is all so eratic. Im interested in the rotor though

Typically machine shops will not cut slotted rotors. A rotor does not warp. What you are experiencing when you need to turn rotors is brake pad material that has melted and transformed to the rotor. When this happens it is done unevenly hence the vibration you feel of the rotor being "out of balance." Your pads melt because they are not aggressive enough for your use. We see guys use the Powerstop pads thinking they are a track pad and they will ruin a rotor after aggressive use. You can try to use a brake rotor hone to remove this material buildup, or you can take some aggressive track pads and do a few COLD stops. Real track pads are very aggressive when cold. The process is basically get up to 80mph with cold brakes and aggressive track pads and slam on the brakes. This method can sometimes remove this build up without having to do much.
