How do you know when the bushings on those go bad? Thanks in advance

generally--u will feel it when you hit the brake--it kinda feels like the front end dives--especially at slow speeds---other times you get noises as that bushing is banging against the wall of the car-------on another note--the lower control arm bushings also go bad and same symptoms------but i feel i showed a good picture as to what bad bushings on these upper arms look like
