acerswift123 wrong. It’s both the car and driver. That Hellcat won’t be able to keep up with a Viper ACR or 911 GT2 RS for example. Put an expert race car driver in a Hellcat and the Viper or GT2 and there won’t be any comparison. The black Porsche that flew by at the beginning put a huge gap on him and he was no where near catching up.

@@t.t.6398 The Charger is a heavy fucking boat dude and most people can't drive like this guy because he's an instructor for this track so he knows the best lines to take and knows what the limits are for the car. People buy porches because they're easier to fucking drive and novice drivers will have a way easier time handling it than a fucking heavy boat Charger. Lastly the other drivers are using their personal cars so they aren't going to go balls deep pedal to the floor when the cost of damaging not only your own car but damaging the track is way too high. I'm not hating on the Hellcat cuz I acutally adore the car but I'm just being real. I haven't drove the hellcat but I have drove the R/T and trust me this car is a fucking boat.

Can you see how embarrassing a car like this would be in a 12, not even 24 hour race. They'd never sell another one. Im saddened. I really am more disappointed than anything. I grew up with hot cars. Rodney Dunnigan - thx for watching! Yes, Jon knows the track well & is a very good driver (the only person I would trust to drive my big girl on the 'Ring, lol). He has spent several years over here & has driven several cars from our car club on the Green Hell to show us what they can do, notably: Ford Focus RS, Corvette (Stingray & Z06), Mustang's and various other makes & models. The Z06 & the Hellcat were probably his most enjoyable rides so far. Mainly due to how focused the Vette was & how BRUTAL the Hellcat was, lol. And yes, the Charger Hellcat is completely stock other than Carbon Fiber rear spoiler & diffuser, 295 rear tires & Powerstop Z26 front brake pads.

Bavarian MOPAR Works Is a dumbass Was Trying to help him, and help save his life and the people around him. But, since he blocks responses & acting stupid.......... He says he waved on Porsche. Lol Waved on??!! Too funny! It's because he's too fkn slow against that Porsche & he had to move over. He had it floored, and he tried to keep up, but he was toast. That thing he drives is a boat in the turns compared to the Porsche. He even commented in video he couldnt keep up. The only Neanderthal that doesn't think they need a helmet & safety harnesses driving at the speeds he was driving is a stupid jackass like him and any non-sanctioning body that promotes such unsafe racing, if what he says is true about them, which is hard to believe such moronic races would be allowed with soo much danger and liability with no safety equipment. I've raced for 37 yrs, and have seen it all, even dumb asses like him, who think they know it all. The cemetery is filled with ignorant fkd up morons driving at very aggressive high speeds with no safety gear. I'm glad he told me that the safety equipment isn't required such as helmets & harnesses and such. Just goes to show ev1 what a fkd up stupid loser he truly Really is, not even caring about human life....including his own! He wants to Cripple or kill himself go right ahead ! He'll know what I'm talking about when he whines up in an accident crippled for life or laying in the cemetery because of crazy driving and no safety equipment. And at that point he can't try to explain himself, it's too late.....lessons learned, the hard way for the JACKASS ! Seen it happen too many times before. Was just trying to help him by telling him, but he sensors replys. Eventually it will one day catch up him, if he dont change his ways when racing so dangerously without safety equipment. -From an old experienced race car driver -

Good effort. You can tell this car has a LOT of power and it's a REAL struggle to stay within the available grip of the tires; it looks SO easy to overdrive, but the driver's doing a really respectable job of keeping it in a fast groove. I only got to do the Nurburgring once, in a 120 HP Suzuki Ignis on R-compounds...it was like the opposite of this. All grip and no power! _PS Bravo to FCA for really giving this car the cooling and brakes to handle track work, it's impressive._

Driver Jon is an experienced semi-pro driver & race instructor who has a ton of experience out here. He shows a bunch of us in our car club how to be better drivers & how to prepare for the Ring. THIS lap was only Driver Jon's second time behind the wheel of the Hellcat...& had his teenage son in the front seat (& me in the back). So he was still not really pushing the car, still trying to figure out what chassis setup he liked. His 3rd lap (Mustang GT lap) was much more aggressive & faster - too bad my tires were pretty much shot by then, lol! He actually turned a faster lap time in a 500hp Subaru w/4 passengers in the car, lol! if you want to see more of him, check the other 2 laps on my channel OR check out my buddy Dan Brown's channel "Track Focused" & watch him lap the field in Dan's Focus RS. I think any car can drift with a experienced driver and Jon is a experienced driver, Here in the states they think Chargers and Challengers can't turn, These cars are heavy and I'm 95% sure Chrysler builds them like that for a reason. Massive HORSEPOWER !!! I watch the Vid every other day and I try to educate drivers with these cars, that some of them actually need to take Road Course Classes to really enjoy these MOPARS....... SRT_LYF well I was mainly talking about track racing... mustangs then you can mainly mask most of its handling issues with wider tires and better suspension, but eventually the LRA and chassis would show its weaknesses against cars with similar power and better suspension components .... Case in point... put a wide body hellcat against a CTSV ..
