Oil cooler plus a little more time dialing in the spring rate, bound/rebound and you've got a perfectly balanced, comfortable, practical super sedan for a reasonable price with reasonable upkeep costs. Love it!

Oil cooler, and some people end up swapping out to a 180* thermostat. They run hot from the factory. When he is on the straights in open air, you don't see it drop that much, so could be anything with this kind of car. I don't think it would be airflow to the radiator since the widebodies (should) have quite a bit of opened surface area.

I’ve lived in metro detroit my whole life and these things absolutely litter the streets here. Every dad and average joe has one and i thought they were just goofy straight line cars with flashy looks for a cheap price tag. But after seeing this i respect this car now. Too bad none of them by me will ever see a track. Just pot holes and street drags

I would say it takes a very good driver like Misha, to take one of these Chargers to its limit. One small mistake and 4,500lbs can slide away from you fast.

I hope he got an oil change after this lap cause that oil is cooked. This lap was much better than his last lap and I’m glad he came back. With an oil cooler and some better brakes he should have a pretty good setup.

from my experience, these motors dont seem to mind the heat too much. the weekend my dad bought his(less than 500 miles on it), we put into limp mode and it ended up stalling itself at stops. oil looked fine and car still runs great

I’ve seen a hellcat challenger get turned into an autocross machine and with a good driver good tires and decent suspension these cars are very capable

Round #3.....oil color, upgraded brake fluid and/or braided lines. To help the body roll maybe a thicker rear sway bar. I wonder if the hellcat sway bar would make a difference

A 190 Tstat is a must in these cars. They have them at 203 stock to get cylinder temps hotter for less emissions which is bad because the engine is already heat soaked at factory stock temps.

Loved the first one video! The Hemi engine is quite lovely,I think it likes to rev a little more than 6.000 RPM to fall in the peak power quick again while up shifting. Maybe a bigger radiator and oil cooler would be ace hehehehe. Very nice video!!! I would love to ear that engine with a better exhaust&air intake too!

I’m impressed with P4S tires. I have them on my C6Z06. Very good grip vs wear! 300 hardness and they are better than the 200 wear Nittos I used to run.

Just FYI mopar recommends DOT3 brake fluid for track events like this. That might help with the softness with the DOT4 getting warm.

The widebody upgrade is a must for this car. I think the Red Eye model has more robust cooling/brakes/everything for track driving.

the rear facing camera is worth its weight in gold, adds some perspective to the speed in the corners and shows why you always take a look in the mirror, even if you are on a hot Lap there is always someone faster around

He may need to play around with stiffer/adjustable Sway bars, especially in the rear to get the large wheelbase car to behave more neutral, to me it looked like there was a bit much of understeer. Nonetheless, I'm happy for the Owner and it was a enjoyable watch

1.1 lateral g is quite good for such a big car. But it also matters how the car and chasis react when past that tyre limit. And it looks very predictable and smooth.

Thats the problem with where I live, is the winters can get down to -20F and the summers up to 100F so I cant just run summer sport tires year round, because part of the year its dry and the roads have no snow, but you'll start out with like 10F in the morning and 50F in the afternoon, you cant drive a car with summer performance tires in those temps. And the tires aren't cheap, the set on the car now was $3500.. . eh one day I'll be rich enough to have two sets of $7000 wheels and tires. lol but not there yet
