Edmunds does a fairly good job with their total cost to own, so it's always a good idea to check them out before you buy. For the first 5 years, it's $882/month for the SXT, $958 for the GT, $1060 for the R/T, $1,320 for the narrow-body Scat, $1,406 for the widebody scat, and $2,104 for the Hellcat. I've personally owned the GT and the narrow-body Scat. The Scat is overpowered and you're paying for power you can't use. You have to consider it's a 485 hp engine sitting on a 400 hp chassis. The GT is the best buy, but for another $100/month you can get the R/T so it's a close second.

I was defo considering a Charger R/T because I desperately missed the V8, and i love Mopars! However, the price range was a little too high for a car that really wasn't worth all that, so i kept looking. Since i grew up on German cars, i took a page outta my old man's book and checked out some bimmers. I found quite possibly a much better and more budget friendly solution. I picked up a 2015 BMW 550i Xdrive that had an M Sport package for around $25k. It was used at around 50k miles, but since it's out of the market, the price was a steal. A throaty 4.4l twin turbo V8 with 445hp under the hood and an all wheel drive set up was just what the doctor ordered! And I pay around 380 monthly. Paid less for more car, that's what im talking about, baby!

The inspection didn't pass because I bought in another state and for my state it didn't pass inspection. One repair was going to cost me $1600 in order to put it on the road. Since I was still under the 30 day return process I sent it back and just drove my Camaro through the winter. Luckily it didn't snow as much that year. My mechanic told me never to get a used BMW because of repair issues. He said they price them so low on the used market because they are money pits. You end up spending more on the back end so it's better to get it new or lease it because everything is still under warranty.

Yup, like 55 at LEAST for a scat. They talkin 50k for an rt plus now. I think it’s just something people say to sound informed or a part of the in crowd of “could have bought a scat pack”. It just simply isn’t true. Or if it is true, it’s a base model, high mileage, older year (no CarPlay?!) no options etc. I got almost every option available besides radar cruise and 100% usable street power with more upgrade potential and better mpg than a scat. I don’t get why people feel so invested in telling others they chose the wrong car for the money, especially when they are just WRONG. 😏

Because in the video you said out the door price was 40000 that is wrong. You might of heard msrp is 40000 but you never included months you are paying for . I bought a 22 RT for 42000 msrp when we finally came down with what I’m paying out the door it’s 799 a month for 72 months with 2.9% interest no down payment is 57000 that a 15000 dollar they take home. I want a used car that they adverise a used car for 35000 payments were going to be 750 for 84 months with 15% interest which adds up to 60000. I’m not telling you chose wrong it’s that the dealership are price gouging the price of the car so that they can take more for them. In the end of the day they don’t care about if you can pay for the car they just want their part in the end of the day. I am trying to help you financially when it comes to buying a vehicle because prices of everything is going up and your young I’m just looking out for you.

Enjoyed your video. Lot of humor in it. However The expenses that you talked about, adding limited-slip and changing the Springs are voluntary expenses. These are not normal everyday expenses that most people would encounter unless they wanted to do mods to their charger.. And that expense could be towards any car Challenger Mustang Camaro. Now doing a burnout and destroying the tires. Well that is probably a normal expense LOL. And oil changes on any car is expensive these days. Especially if one is using synthetic oil.

Not a Daytona but it does have the fully maxed out interior. My interest rate is 6.49%, monthly payment is $545, monthly insurance is $170 for full coverage + gas. We basically have the same car and you’re paying over double per month. Hope you’re able to refinance at some point…

More or less yeah, I was at Firestone and Tesla before but now I’m at a dealership. You usually have to start as a porter but if you’re interested just apply to every dealership service advisor job you can, take the best offer and work there 6-12 months to get experience and then apply to highline (luxury) brands like bmw Audi Porsche etc. Thats where the money is at.
