We made this video with my friend Parviz. That day I was testing my new camera and Parviz offered to film how he drives his car. Of course, it looks old-fashioned now, but then it was just top class! )
He then sold this car to Universal Studios for the filming of "Fast and Furious". This car is a Beast!

I just got a 2008 Dodge Charger SRT8 with 46k miles. Super powerful and fast. The one thing I found about them is that the drive shaft for them is very weak. The drive shaft is a two piece with a rubber couppler in between. In fact it has two couplers, one in front and one at the rear close to the differential. It also has a bearing with a clamp also with rubber around it. The car has way too much torque and eats them up all day. That seems to be one of the biggest problems with this car. I've found a heavy duty drive shaft on line tested at 750 hp and another tested at 1000 hp. They are not cheap but I will get one before I put the blower on the car. I already replaced the couplers and motor and transmission mounts. The person who had the car was doing burnouts and put a beating on them. Besides that, the car runs super strong. Great cars.

Don't worry bud, it's still shiftable. They have a slap stick semiautomatic so you can still manually shift it without the need of a clutch.
