On my 86 Dodge I used a dual inlet single outlet Fl*wmaster 50 series muffler exiting out the passenger side, and it sounds great.

I’m going to do this to my 88 dodge it’s already kinda loud just not the V8 scream im looking for and it’s a 318 as well

Hey, thanks for watching! Yea, it's pretty loud if you're on the passenger side with the window down but, not that bad when driving with the windows up. Good luck with your truck.
