You're right, A/C work is EXPENSIVE! That bolt with the splines on it SUCKED! That was a very good idea to make your own spacer. Lot of grunting going on in the outtakes, LOLOL!!!!

I was not sure what else to try besides making the spacers. These worked better than the other ones I used a while back. Still not perfect.

I just installed these plates and they leak when I try to refill, and I got the bolts tight. I'm gonna take it apart and put some kind of sealant on there, like RTV maybe.

They do! For a 2012 vehicle, it is doing pretty good rust wise. (this is my boss's wife's van.) He also has one. And then the silver one is my wifes. This year hwys is not using salt. Roads are horrible. (Government has no money)

@@LakesideAutobody I have snow/ice tires on a set of separate rims on the van for winter. All season don't really cut it here. We have 5 to 6 months of this weather.

Bad idea if you need rear ac. If you never carry passengers you'll be ok. I would rather use an Aluminum welding shop to seal the lines. On the other hand for about one hundred dollars you can buy rear a c line to made out of rubber so they are flexible and have rear a c.

The issue was with the cooling core in the rear leaking. (Can't think off had the proper name of it) And yes, not good if you want it cool!

@unclemarksdiyauto the rear condenser probably. They're cheap. Labor might not be.

@@hanksdiy6899 Here in Canada, government regulations won't let you buy any air conditioning parts without a qualified air license. So it gets expensive fast.
