The Hanging Cab is nice, but I still prefer the "Hanging Fridge", as the best art installation. Be careful on ladders & stay safe during this pandemic Love from Scotland 5* :D

I guess I didn't realize from your Instagram that there were two Power Wagons. That second one looks like it was hell with those locked up rear wheels. I know you're a fireman, but I was cringing with all that high ladder-work, especially the way that articulated ladder creaks so much. I have borderline issues with heights, so more power to you ya (HA! See what I did there?!). I'm not much of a motorhead but I'm finding your Instagram stories on this restoration interesting, and these trucks are old enough to spark my interest because of their classic appearance and tough reputation. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

So, are you a truckie? I hate working up that high. Nice progress. I so don't miss rust and scale. Looking forward to you updates.

R.J.'s workshop I am! Although here in philly, our ladder trucks are called “ladders” so we go by “laddermen”. Heights issues are not an issue! Thanks for stopping in and I hope to see you back for the next one!

Good job! Wish I had the space to pull my cab off. Looks like your floor was better than mine. It’s slowly going back together. You can throw tons of money at these trucks, try to keep it sane.
@partsandresto4 жыл бұрын
jsprag8054 thanks man, I like your videos. I’m gonna throw some at the engine, but aside from that, I’m gonna try and keep it low budget. We shall see.

Throw TONS of money at these trucks? NO way everything is VERY inexpensive at time they just about pay ME to take it, of course depending on the amount of gold the piece is made from!
@JDawghasaTruck3 жыл бұрын
@@karlk6860 my goal is, since I’m doing all the work myself, is to get back as much or a bit more than what I’ve got into it. I don’t want to spend 30 grand and only sell it for 25🙄

Clarkieboy Vids I do. Lots of pics of that on the Instagram @partsandrestoration. I also have a chandler and price 1900 ish standing paper chopper that I’m half way through restoring. Then after a year of searching, two power wagons land at my feet 30 mins away and my life goes on hold:
