Dodge Ram 1500 Rear Folding Seat Mod

This video shows you how to easily turn your Ram 1500 rear seats into folding seats. Should work for 94 - 2008 models.

My first dodge ram truck I bought a few years ago was an 05 quad and the last owner had subwoofers and the seats folded down and 🪝 back up. Now I have an 06 quad with no subs but at the same time I was wondering why my back seats wasn't folding down. I just found this vid on a fluke and wow! Ya learn something new every day.

So much better than shims or taking a hacksaw to the part that clips into those hooks. Best part is doing this is completely reversible.

Yea, if you don't likw it just flip them around. But honestly there is no reason not to like this mod.

He said to un-bolt the seats, pick up lower seat and fold down seat backs, then flip the striker/latches upside down, cut a bit of the insulation material if needed and you done. Seemed well explained to me.
