Dodge Ram Vs Land Rover Defender... Truck camper stand off! (Ep144)

We have rarely come across other truck campers on our journey. To have this Dodge Ram with a Japanese made Mystic camper parked next to us was super exiting.
We met the owner who gave us a run down on his set up.
Join us as we are invited by Dan and Aya to their new lakeside block for a night of camping, cooking on the fire and standup paddle boarding.
Lake Aoki is one of the clearest lakes in Japan.
Join us as we travel the world overland, exploring the cultures and traditions of all the countries we visit.
In our Land Rover Defender camper which is our full time home we will take you rock climbing, hiking and exploring across all the continents on this planet.

I think you are family to the kids, she loves you as much as any Aunt you can see it. You may not be visiting part of your family but your family there is growing. The kids will tell their children about you and how fun you are. Hardship can bring about the best things in life some times. You are very blessed to be spending this time in Japan, you would never have stayed this long and made the friendships you have now. On another note the 5.7 Hemi does rocket my Jeep off the line pretty well. You do use more fuel than the 6.2 GM seems too, but it is fun to drive. Stay safe and healthy have fun with your family before you leave there.

What a sweet video. I'm falling in love with Japan, thanks to you guys. It was surprising to see a Ram truck in Japan! My biggest concern in building an overland vehicle on a domestic vehicle in the USA is parts and service availability after I leave the continent.

We were very surprised too. 😆 in a normal world, don't worry too much about parts. You can receive DHL pretty much everywhere in the world in less than a week.

J'ai l'impression qu'il y a une grosse communauté de Volkswagen California, et donc pourquoi pas procédé a un échange, comme pour les maisons. J'y ai u souvent recours avant l'achat de mon Van. Ce sont des véhicules chers fragiles et leurs propriétaires, non sans raison ont peur de le prêté. Ces passionnés que nous somme un peu tous, ont en commun le voyage, et la, ce retrouvé dans un pays aussi lointain, dans un véhicule similaire dont je connais bien l'environnement me plait Bcp. La réciprocité est certainement possible Chili辣椒 .
