I do hope the government is building lots of recreation places, with parks, play areas, swimming, fishing, tennis, football, hockey, gyms etc for the growing population or else people get bored and do not interact with each other. Somehow these need for water resources... don't see any lakes or rivers nearby . It seems very windy perhaps wind energy plus solar.

Dodoma isn't a new city.It was proclaimed the capital city since 1973.But its construction was altered due to various reasons and the government functions continued to be carried in Dar es salaam until the late president Magufuli revived the plan to relocate the government functions in Dodoma in 2016.The government started moving to Dodoma in 2018.

Dodoma was chosen due to central location, it's semi arid but has plenty rains from December to April. VEGAS is semi arid but Beautiful. We love our Dodoma City
