The cards are designed to replace minis, or even get you started as you begin collecting your own miniatures. Great product. I use them as well, with and without minis.~K

Thinking of getting into Blucher. Are they worth getting even if you want to get miniatures?

Yes. The rules are designed for use WITH miniatures - pretty much any scale. The cards are an option you can use. In fact, my first couple of games were with cards. The cards are useful during play even if you are using miniatures, as they contain all the unit information you need. The reverse side of the cards also are used during deployment and pre-battle maneuver. Hope that helps. Take care. ~Fritz
