One of the most common questions Dr Blake Bloxham of Feller & Bloxham Medical, PC (www.fellermedic...) is asked during consultations is: Will my hair transplant look good styled in different ways? Can I wear it wet, dry, and with product? The answer to this question is: Yes, a proper hair transplant will look good at various lengths, with different styles, with product, etc. And while most patients will try different styles and land on one that optimizes the transplant, they essentially can do "whatever they want" with the results of a good hair transplant. If the transplant is done using proper follicular unit grafts; if the grafts are placed in an anatomically correct position; if the smallest tools possible are used to make incisions as close as the body will safely allow it; and if expert technicians are used to trim and place the grafts, patients should be set up for a great result that will look good wet, dry, or "gelled."
To "drive this point" home, Dr Bloxham presents the results of a 2,600 graft FUT case on a medical professional who spent time at the clinic after his surgery matured (14 months post-op). Over the course of a week, this patient came in with his transplant in various states, and Dr Bloxham was able to take pictures and video with the transplant dry, wet, and with product. Each style looked great and helped affirmatively answer the question that a transplant will look good wet, dry, and with styling product.

2600 is quite a lot for such a tiny area.

@@ytsux9259 I mean, yeah, but the coverage looks like there's way more grafts implanted. I have seen "reputable" doctors using 4000 on similar area and making them look about the same. I honestly don't think anyone can have craft hairlines the way Bloxham can

I worry when doctors do very low transplants on young guys knowing he will probably lose the rest of his hair on the top of his head. I would not recommend any transplant on a patient younger than 30.

Tell the patient to cut his hair to a 2 guard or a 3 it will not look good that short so saying you can have any style is untrue ive had 3000 grafts in the frontal third and grown out looks good but shaving it down to a 2 or 3 it looks like very poor density i have afro hair

Honestly, think this guy probably would’ve recovered with just doing finasteride and minoxidil. Going to an American clinic I got imagined procedure cost at least 8,000 minimum
