it's liberating for me to hear you saying "everything I'm saying it is a finite mind that is saying it. The only tools that I have at my disposal are words, and the words of a finite mind have evolved to describe the finite, temporary elements of experience. So I'm using these clumsy, inarticulate symbols called words which would never suppose to describe reality, and ultimately cannot describe reality because their purpose is to describe things." Ever since I became a Nursery teacher I've been trying to understand the impact of your teachings. Now I know the role of words, it's easier to accept their purpose. Simultaneously what I can do, is to let Advita permeate my classroom environment so a higher level of teaching takes place in increasing moments of silence.

Some philosophers and spiritualists claim that this world and we, as the inhabitants, are just illusion. But interestingly, to prove that, they use very concrete logic and many abstract words. So does this thinking has any real basis? There is analogy called “rope and snake”, used to show this phenomena. It goes like this : When one is in dark room and sees the rope on the floor, he gets scared, thinking it to be a snake. So in a same way we are thinking that this world is real but in fact it is illusory, as our thoughts are. It is nice analogy but there is a problem. In order to mistake rope for a snake there must be real snake. So in the same way there must be real world. And our thinking is also real although faulty, because of not accepting the real Personality, of whom we are the image.

Reality simple means that which is real....now let's investigate into what is real and who is the authority that decides it's existence... Anything that can be pointed out and accepted is real... perception is reality...it may not be the truth,however it is still real until proved otherwise..You can look at a "glass of water" as half full or half empty that's perception of an object based on ones pessimistic or optimistic approach ...but the actuality is just glass and water...when we modify a fact to our liking or our idea or understand we create a reality... reality is based on our conditioning and our current state of being..The mind is common to all humans and it is dived by regions,culture,habits, education, social ,religious and scientific norms and standards.we consider ourselves as individuals but are we not copies of genetic evolution? When we are born as infants we know nothing, we just posses the genetics of the physical body which includes the brain from our parents and ancestry. We are later told and thought everything that we know....few points to consider....did you create the language that you speak or the meaning of words and objects? We understand the world through thought patterns & cycles and these patterns or cycles become a standard.we have created and live in world of polarity like True & false,good and bad, and so on and based on our orientation we transact and live in the world.

You could get an argument there. Consciousness or _human_ consciousness? Does the universe generate consciousness apart from human consciousness as an emergent property? The evolved simian (AKA "human") brain evolved consciousness as an emergent property, why couldn't the universe? When you and I die biologically, our shared quality, our human consciousness dies with us. Only our eternal particles (quantum foam?) remain to re-merge with the universe into other forms and so on and so forth. Issue: My human consciousness at this moment has full consciousness/awareness of the universe and its existence. Once I cease to exist as a biological entity, "my" universe ends. But THE universe _continues on_ in other human consciousnesses and so on and so forth. Question: is the universe, as a whole, self-aware? As for the questions framed at the base of this video, they're almost identical to those posed in any Philosophy 101 class. Kant and his successors pretty much addressed these. I like Vaihinger's response as well as Wittgenstein's. That said, I recommend Gary Zukav's _The Dancing Wu-Li Masters_ for an easy to read crash course on these questions. Be well.
@Aaron_Gentry2 жыл бұрын
@@socratesagain7822 When I say consciousness, I mean THE Consciousness, Beingness Itself, the Godhead. I should've been more clear. The universe doesn't generate consciousness; rather consciousness generates the universe and everything contained within it. You, as a biological entity, technically don't exist; you're a thought within the Infinite Godhead, as is everything. You, as the ego-body-mind system you believe yourself to be, don't have consciousness. Consciousness has you. You've got it backwards. Sorry to sound so Kantian. And much as I hate myself for saying this, isn't a belief based on vanity? And isn't vanity based on the very human fear of death or ego-annihilation? And isn't this particular belief a _courageous_ response in the face of death's relentless approach? Based on your view, why not encourage suicide among the unhappy, miserable and depressed? After all, according to your view, they "don't exist," even _biologically_. Euthanasia would bring relief to our fellow, "non-existent" beings trapped within seriously troubled consciousnesses... Both the question and the answer are...correct. The answer, in my opinion, was an expanded way of explaining the questioner's posits. I also feel the modern science will catch up to the knowing that physical "reality" is experienced through the mind and/or consciousness of Source. As you said, Quantum physics already addresses this. The challenge of connecting physical matter and consciousness will also be clarified. Remember, this is the Age of Enlightenment/Aquarius and many things that were once mysterious will be made commonplace. I agree that matter does not create consciousness...it is the prism through which consciousness experiences Itself. Namaste.

Regarding his disagreement with Sam Harris, it’s interesting to note that Harris completely agrees with Spira about non-duality. He believes whole heartedly that the separate sense of self is an illusion and that *from the point of view* of experience, everything occurs within experience. Harris just remains agnostic about the connection (or lack thereof) between consciousness and the supposed material world. Spira is fond of saying “the point of view of consciousness is the only point of view” and there’s a sense in which that’s clearly literally true. If there is a material world, it wouldn’t have a point of view. That doesn’t mean there is no material world, and although it’s never something we can prove, the contents of consciousness offer an overwhelming abundance of evidence to *imply* a material world. Or, at the very least, a world outside what Spira calls the finite mind. If this world is made of consciousness, that’s fine I suppose, but if obeys the laws of physics it’s almost just a semantic distinction to say it’s made of consciousness and not made of matter.

A world outside the infinite mind? Have you ever experienced a thing that exists outside of consciousness? Try to imagine what that would even be like. Some thing that exists outside of consciousness. All I get is imagination. What about you? We are staying close to our direct experience only in finding truth. Not imagination. That isn’t real. The body, experienced IN consciousness. Thoughts. Come and go IN consciousness. Perceptions. Come and go IN consciousness. Sensations. Come and go IN consciousness. Consciousness is the only unchanging element found throughout all experience. It’s aware presence. All objects appear IN consciousness. That is your experience. Now take away consciousness. Where will all these apparent objects manifest in? It is the continuity that allows for discontinuity

The answer is YES. Existence is existence, if you exist, you always have, are and always will, existence cannot become non-existence because energy cannot be created nor destroyed. The question, "does consciousness come from matter" is, in a sense, being asked backwards. That's true to a degree, but there in lies the conscious illusion when it comes to the physical reality which is real, but only in our conscious minds as we are the creators of all we experience. All we can do here is perceive, and perception can be highly misleading. When we came into being here, through the birth process, everything we needed was already here, like, to bring into being the t.v.. screen he spoke about. In a sense, we're creating an experience within an experience. We create "things" from that which was already here, the elements, atom's, molecule's etc. Considering this is a reflection of our true minds, everything we need as conscious beings already exists, always has, is and always will. Everything "you" need to create an experience already exists. So back to the question. I am creating this experience and it's being had in my conscious mind, not in the literal physical sense. We came into being, "the one" became "the all that is" to express and experience itself as more than what it was. I am just one aspect of infinite aspects of the all that is. My physical body came into being in similar fashion, to express myself, seemingly, as more than I am. So our conscious mind is the creator of matter, we experience it as matter, our human brain is used as part of that matter to THINK. So it comes from us, goes through a physical filter and goes back out in a seeming cycle. All that said, at the end of the day, the only anything that matters here is not even the experience, but how we experience the experience. The experience is just a mean's to that. At it's deepest and truest level, we're so highly creative that we actually convinced ourselves "forgot on purpose" that we're actually human when nothing could be further from the truth, we're conscious being creating a physical experience.

So if I answer your question on the level of thought in the realm of duality - I’d say “I do not know” we could also say the truth is the Consciousness (God) itself, but that would mean nothing to our finite minds. So coming into existence from the base background is like a “feast” we choose and even though we cannot control it that experience is an artificial exercise of the finite mind experiencing itself.

We should be the observers in our own lives. This means becoming too involved in the 3D world will not progress you. Attachment will weigh you down. Travel light and then be light. Blessings to all for your journey ahead. 🌟☄💛🌑🌒

Regarding the issue of time its simply created by the finite mind which is living in the past trying to guess the future. Ref Scientist Lisa Feldman Barret. So the psychological mind dont live in the now, consciousness does✨

About hard problem of consciousness Swami Sarvapriyananda also says the same thing . Sounds very much like Advaita Vedanta where everything happens in our awareness is again and again stressed .

If you want to get the correct equation in terms of the multiple forms of existence; Physics says that everything that pulsates inside your body, it is somehow a reflection of the cosmic pulse. That means how life is in perfect sync with the larger dimension of life. And that we are a small reflection of everything else. That, to see more clearly, you must see everything in reflection. If you have a mirror the mountain can see the mountain reflected in the mirror, you can see the mountain and also the sky. You can see the whole world through your two eyes, which are so small, to reflect the entire cosmos within you; and that makes you someone important for the entire cosmic dimension of existence. If you understand this every moment of your life, if you keep this in your memory; you will walk gently, breathe gently, exist gently, and let everything you touch be a blessing. And in the multiple forms of existence, and in the multiple sounds that the human voice can generate; music has been one of the most powerful tools to obtain that equation towards that divinity. It's about alignment. of rhythm, attention to everything. Like everything . Gina - Agni gi

Our bodies are the screen the Universe is projected upon. Our own Self awareness is supporting the body from inside. The Body Protrudes into space and time. Conciousness is Pouring into the world from the center of the chest from the Inner Horizon, as the outer horizon(the body) has a hole through the center where the outer world(food) passes through (fueling the soul within) The body is a complex manifold embedded in an “enveloped” topological space in an orbital timeline.

One more thing: laws of physics are relative not absolute.
How much intelligence would an infinite being have to create all this , just look at what we have done in 100 years . Nothing really in the grand scheme of things . Blows my mind . And the all is consciousness actually makes sense .

Rupert is my latest obsession. I like his "seemingly" intellectual approach to teaching about the simplicity of consciousness/awareness. However, this video was funnee from start to finish. It was clear that Rupert wanted to chuckle while she was framing her question. But, like gifted educators do, he not only listened patiently, he understood. That is why he was able to answer her question so eloquently without being demeaning. Now, the interview where these dudes called each other HIGHFALUTIN, was really 🤣🤣🤣. I have to find it. Truth be told, I discussed something like this on social media this morning. BTW, Lady Quantum Physics was brave to pose the question. Yazz, Babygirl. Keep asking whatever you need to for your edification.

So, are the law of physics just the structure of beings in which we can manifest in our current forms?
@moonglow66392 жыл бұрын
According to Rupert there is no "structure", no "matter", no objective reality at all. Only consciousness "exists", if I understood it right. So there also would be no "laws of physics" then. These things only seemingly "exist" but are not really real.

With all due respect for this wonderful teaching, dvaita equals dual or multiplicity. Putting the 'a' in front of the word gives the opposite meaning. "One Thing Without a Second" When the 'v' occurs after a consonant, it is pronounced as 'w.' uh - dwite - tuh
